  • is that your hair in the vase?

  • @LouiseHans10 Yeah.

  • YOU BETTA SAY DAT...PREACH

  • Thanks WordSmith...was just going through something of the same this week...your video spoke to me.

  • Don't get attached to things...Ameen!

  • The memories are not attached to the item they're inside of you, forever. Without the item you still have all the memories.

  • Ok, so let me tell YOU why THIS post is powerful. Last week I visited my family in Columbus, OH. While there one of my family members lost my silver dog tags that my best friend got me for Christmas. I've worn the dog tags in many of the videos I've done. A few years ago I would have been frantic or pissed. For some reason, I just chilled out on this. Didn't even let it get to me. You're so right! Material things should never outweigh the timeless love we share amongst each other.

  • Years ago, I started to give my friends my Bob Marley albums and some documentaries of him. They were real worried about me; they were wondering, is this guy going to kill himself? I had to convince them I was just moving away from 'hero worship'; and it coincided with me starting a new phase of life.

  • @chaguanas I totally feel you on that. Something you felt you had to 'break' in order to move onto to your next phase. I get ya.

  • U getting skinny every

  • this is a lesson I need to learn...I am not ready to learn it yet but I need to!!!!!!!

  • @petranilla14 Now that you know you need the lesson, why wait? Once you're aware, you're ready, love :)

  • You said it!!!!!1

  • You know I am loving this puddin your life is a ministry

  • @tssexychanel Thanks. All of our lives are ministries.

  • Absolutely on point! I am learning more and more to appreciate the concept of Impermanence. Messages like this helps people see more clearly through the third eye. Keep teaching...

  • @jazzman2ez And you keep teaching as well

  • You are so right. We only have things for a period of time and that includes people. Love them for the time given to you and them. Thanks for this vid.

  • so true. i would have been so upset if i broke something with that much meaning

but you are right another example is people who own expensive things. sure it may be a diamond worth millions but at the end of the day it is a rock

not getting attached to people is going to be hard work i can get clingy to those i love. i dont know what i would do without my mother and brother

  • Well said.

  • @rockinrobin786 Your Mom gave you some pretty solid advice! Thanks for stopping by!

  • So true! I never even thought of it that way. The item may be gone, but your friend will always live in your heart, because HE was the REAL gift. :-)

  • @MzTJones80 The vase in broken into billions of pieces. Just gives me a chance to go shop for something new ;)

  • you had actually already learned the lesson..that was just the test to show you how you have grown..i have been tested more than once this past week and my normal over reacting was not the same..even though it still hurts I have been able to step back and understand that God has a plan..even though it seems the universe is trying to sabbotage you sometimes it really is working for us to help us be better people..if we can step away from the problem and see the good..good for you..love ya

  • @Trippleg1993 I definitely saw the good...the lesson. That made me appreciate the time I had w. my BFF even more. Thanks for the comment & vid response. You know I love you, G!

  • You are in one word: EVERYTHING!

  • @nvncyble *sings* and everything is meeeeee (I sang that as humbly as possible lol.). Thanks Quad.

  • Well you did it again. You have a true gift. I am old enough to be your grandmother and it is rare for me to hear a young man speak with so much wisdom. As for me I have learned that your are never to old to learn. Thank you for all that you do. Continued blessings

  • @BRENDAAGAPE I appreciate that, lovely lady! Blessings and thanks :)

  • great vid..I am dealing with that now with my mom, she passed away 4 years ago, I make sure not to treat everything I have of hers as a shrine.. Great message!
