Roberth's growls are just one of the best ever, and his facial expressions when growling are not any good, but who cares, we're here to listen to the music.

And Lars's singing is great too, it just doesn't resemble Christians as much as Roberth's but it is superior to any other singers voice.

I can agree that Dark Matter Dimensions wasn't so good, but The Unseen Empire is just awesome, I can say that it is their 2nd best album, if not the best album so far.

@antichrist07comrad Very, very overrated. Pretty cliche/cheesy, really. Pretty much every "melodic death/power metal" cliche in the book, and this band's got it. In short, this band has little staying power, really. I sure did think it was amazing oh.... a few years ago. Grew out of it fast though.

@Kuolleille without the cliche's, there's little to distinguish melodic death etc from other genres. not everything needs to be technical and different, if it was then it wouldn't be appreciated as much anyway. Scar Symmetry are typical melo-death, but christian is still brilliant.

and btw you pretty much summed up why most melodic death generally sucks. However, there is melodic death metal that does stand out, like TRITSIO, Eucharist, and Dismember and Sentenced, among some others. [hint: because they dont rely on cliche]

And if u look at the history of rock and metal Jimi Hendrix who was one of the most influential and skilled guitarist of all time was also black.
