There is nothing wrong with a child firing a gun. Not teaching the child to how to handle weapons safely, however, is just asking for trouble.

Also, Uzis aren't super-evil-baby-killing-device­s; they're firearms, and just like other firearms, when they are improperly handled bad things can happen. This show is well supervised and really it takes an accident like this one to change the rules. Its sad that this had to happen but it really was an accident. when i was that child's age i was doing turkey shoots with a .410 and no one thought it was wrong. Its one thing when the child gets the gun from a closet or drawer. But to hand the child any kind of loaded fire arm is just pure stupidity, If the parent isnt holding on to it too or safety on.. I have no remorse for that father, just the family....

@Fetustoes.You should never let a child hold something like an uzi.. if it had been a reg hand gun it would have only fired once not killing the child..The gun fired multiple shots before it struck the child..
