Liverpool is a great city, im a student and all visiting students say they will stay at the end of their studies. It is a truly international, beautiful and vibrant city.
It's a city that in economic terms is somewhere between 15 and 20 years behind the rest of the country (don't believe me, check for yourself). If you think that's worth sticking up for, then that's your prerogative. Seems somewhat dubious to me however.
