Hey, I am starting to learn the 'uke (I've had a dinky tourist one for about a year now that my mom gave me and i'm just now picking it up for real).

Would you recommend ukulelehunt as a good source for learning? And what can you tell me about seriously buying a better uke than the one i have? I don't want to buy one until i show progress on my dinky one first.

@daREALellemo I would get a ukulele chord book showing you the fingerwork for every chord and then go to a website like "ultimate-guitar" and pick some of your favourite songs that are played with just chords and learn them. That's what I did and then after you just play around with things you can get good at picking, strum patterns, and everything else (Note: Guitar chords are the same as Ukulele chords, however Tabs are very different). And Lanikai is a good uke company. :D
