@pd101 yup, but only the gst(fwd) and GSX(awd) models are worth buying. they come equipped with a turbocharged 4G63 engine. Lower models such as the rs and gs come with a 420A engine, stray away from these.

@codenos you're right with whats what, but i love my little 420A...i have never had any problem and it has 150k on it. I do however care for the car and i assume that a DSM motor could go bad quickly if not accompanied with some TLC

@julais23rol You could start with a catback or turboback exhaust(or your tip of choice with custom 21/2-3'' exhaust piping) upgraded downpipe, blow-off valve, wastegage, boost controller, turbo timer, cold air intake. Look for brands such as HKS, Apex'i, Greddy/Trust, Tanabe, 5zigen, even Megan. You might wanna look into Tein for some suspension, and if your car is a manual,then maybe a clutch and flywheel assembly, good luck =]

well you should start with exhaust, then get a new intake, if its non turbo my guess get a cold air intake, then get a good header, and if you want it to go faster start with weight, take anything out that weights lots like ac heater core, pass and rear seats, spare tire and if you got subs speakers and cd or dvd player take them out. now see what your car runs you will be surprised if you have any more ? hit me back on cardomain my page is

nope, chrysler wasnt involved in the production of the cars, they might have the same badges as DSM's but they dont have the same parents, we can go on and on about this all day, some say they are dsm, some say they arent, but i think we can both agree that the 2g at 1:50 is absolutely beautiful!

the 2g eclipse/talon has a 7 bolt engine that crankwalks 8/10 when its modded to a certain degree... and the transmissions are kinda weak, if you get one thats manual make sure you double clutch all the time

Yeah like 1991 said they do crank walk so unless you know how to work on them or have a good friend that does good work for cheep or have a lot of money to pay someone to do it that yeah buy one they can get fast quick and they fun to drive ... Personally depending how much your price range is ide go with an STI :-)
