The two vinces was one of the proxies abilities, it basically copied down the person's ability. The gameshow, I wish I knew as well.

The gameshow episode served as a... recap and trivia episode, if you will. It gave one information and clues regarding to the past and future. If you payed enough attention, then it should be easier to follow the episodes after. THat's what I gather, anyway. I love this anime!
