@bjuszczak6 This is the effect of wing turbulence. As a wing flies, it generates lift, created by the higher air pressure on the bottom of the wing. Vortices (the clouds) are a side effect of creating lift. When the vortices are created, there is a low pressure area at the center. This causes water to precipitate and form clouds. It can also be seen on slower aircraft during high humidity. Speed, angle of attack and humidity are all contributing factors to these visible vortices.

There was no sonic boom, just a vapor cloud. If there was a sonic boom of a vehicle this size and only 400 yards out from people with no ear protection they would be running around after the pass with blood running out of their eyes and ears.

When Tom (no more aliens attached to him) Cruise would have done his fly-bys in Top-Gun at Mach+ it would have shattered the windows in the tower and cause electrical problems at 200 yards out.

sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but it seems to me that this plane is not going mach 1, it's reaching it's critical mach number. basically, the airflow over the wing is hitting mach 1, therefore causing a shockwave on the wing and creating the "clouds"

No, It can be either sub or super-sonic depends on temp/ humidity and proximity to ground-effect. You can observe the same thing on the wing of an airliner at 300 knots in the right conditions.
