Unbelievable aircraft that is still a formidable performer today. Its STOL characteristics are just amazing. A strong and stable platform for aerial surveillance, photography, glider tow, etc. I'd love to have one.
Curiously was the favorite one of Marshal Erwin Rommel who loved to pilot it by himself, also the prefered personal scouting plane from his rival: marshal Montgomery. Must be a fantastic stol plane.

Splendid machine indeed. I remeber her from the time I was a kid. In Czech rep. it used to serve as a glider tug. The last in the city of Brno was OK-AIW if I am not mistaken.
There is one in Prague in museum and somewhere is another one. I hope ot will fly one day...
