Gee, Olbermann didn't seem to care that Kerry sucked off of the tit of the Heinz fortune by marrying up. And I would much rather have a man and family like McCain's who has made a success of himself and actually owns property as oppose to Obama having now been elected president and demonstrating what happens when someone with zero experience has to lead the most powerful nation on earth. Hit the ground running? well, he hit the ground alright. He just can't get up.
I have to say this, though. John Kerry was just as guilty of constantly evoking his service as McCain. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand McCain, but don't give him a hard time and then give Kerry a pass.
Thanks to the way the government has been conducted lately, a lot of Americans aren't sure how many houses they have either, because they're not sure if the mortgage has gone into default, in which case the answer is zero or if the answer still one for a bit longer. The problems of the elite power structure is both sad and funny...BUT mostly sad.
McCain still collects his government checks... all kinds of them. He gets military veteran checks, disability checks, senate paychecks, Bush sends him hush checks, then there is the kickbacks from Keating and Reed.

...all of his assets are our business, he is a united states senator and he's on the public dime.

He's running for president. It IS our business, especially since McCain has been trying to paint Obama as the wealthy elitist.

Erudition? Does that matter any more in this dumbed-down country?
