Social Security isn't an entitlement. Its a government enforced retirement program. Its not the baby boomers fault our government got greedy and spent the money that was suppose to be invested.

The issue that "conservatives," Republicans and republican Tea people think is the problem with Obama and Democrats. And that is the National Debt. The facts: Reagan 1.9 Trillion; HW Bush: 1.5; Clinton: 1.4; GW Bush 6.4; Obama: 2.4.
Last 30 years of National Debt:
Democratic Party Presidents: 3.8 Trillion Dollars
Republican Party Presidents: 9.8 Trillion Dollars
Nothing "conservative" about ^^ the nearly 10 Trillion GOP created debt.
The large Debt is a Republican/conservative created problem.

on the contrary, many dead people still collect social security checks via their corrupt family members/relatives. the ssa can also kill old peole collecting ss checks as was the recent case of martha lawler. if only, this big government of ours would just use a program that would eliminate all the fraud instead of concentrating on giving all americans an individual internet identification. of course there is fraud in medicare also...imagine as much as $60Billion in fraudulent claims a year.

You can only dump the debt, if someone is willing to lend you the money. The FED's game of buying the debt can't last forever. Hyperinflation will pay off debt, but ruin the economy/Country. We are screwed.

They don't have to worry too much about the cost of the baby boomers retiring, the new health care bill will help to eliminate at least half of them over the next 20 years so I guess they have it all figured out. Dead people don't collect social security.
