A salute to the '90's and some of the greatest music EVER to be created. EVER. Both Gods of Rock will and live on Forever immortalized by the unanimous understanding their creations are superior to the mainstream shit shoved at us these days.
@fritz42112011 While that may be true, unfortunately thats not what counts. You and I don't make the rules.Besides, BMF is one of rock n rolls greatest albums.
Which came first, "Piss It Away" or Nickelbacks "Burn It To The Ground"? Because one stole from the other. I love both songs and both bands, and the idea of one stealing from the other doesn't bother me at all... I just want to know who to give the credit to.
big wreck was proply one of the last good bends of the mid 90's to be released before all the senseless trashy music and degrading lyrics from terrible musicians that followed afterwards in the late 90's. Chad Kroeger wouldn't be able to pull off grunge or any kind of somewhat talented rock if his life depended on it. glad big wreck is back together, can't wait for their future release.
please don't compare big wreck or Ian Thornley to nickleback, nickelback is shit compared to big wreck. comparing Ian Thornley or big wreck to nickleback is an insult of extremely high scale. Big Wreck far surpasses Nickleback on every aspect of music, lyrics, and sheer raw talent. Chad Kroeger can eat a dick. Big Wreck and Ian Thornley was famous long before Nickleback and would headline a concert over Nickleback any day of the year.
@dalisllama ya, it has that gay poppy intro and it wasn't produced well. I hate when modern producers take a good band and try and make them radio friendly. Keep it rock n roll!
yeah Ian does sound a bit like Chris Cornell and maybe Big Wreck was a Soundgarden from an alternate universe to carry us through Soundgarden's post-break up years. On a road trip i played Thornley's Come Again for a friend and he asked "is this Audioslave?" i replied "yeah, they fucking WISH!"
UUhhh serious? They are both hot talented mofo's .... To say that one is copying the other is so absurd... HAVE You been paying any attention to his style and life experiences and shit? Only an idiot would accuse you of that, they might as well accuse me too. I probably know more of his career than you.
And Thornley, you have proved your talent many ways. Its a tough world out there but you have your followers and will continue to gain more with your talent. You got me forever with ur talent

I saw Thornley in Corpus Christi about 9 years ago, 1 of 4 bands playing that day. I was so blown away by their music that I bought their CD the next day. Hadn't heard of them till that day. That's the last CD I've purchased (Thank you internet). I in no way confuse Chris Cornell with Ian although Chris makes me think of Odis Redding. They are both f*cking outstanding artist.
Ian has always sounded like this, and Cornell has always sounded like he does. To be honest though it would be amazing to see them in some sort of harmony set up on a track. No imitation here, just solid rock vocals and a great artist
Cornells voice is not something someone simply "copies". lol
What we have here is Ian Thornley who has been blessed with the SAME wicked awesome vocal talent and thank god for that!! Coupled with his crazy-great guitar talent he is a power-punch to the musical senses and my ears are VERY thankful!! :)
Rock on Thornley!
p.s. Cornell is deserving of equal praise here.... but from a fan of his.... I enjoy his stuff but i'm a Thornley fan ;)
Of course he sounds like Chris Cornell, and Chris Cornell sounds like him, and there are a lot of other great singers who have similar voices. It's not an insult, but rather an expression of the feeling: "Holy shit, there are at least two vocalists who sound like the f*cking thunder in a megaphone!" I always wonder why people are insulted by comparison. I promise you, if there ever comes a day where I receive a similar compliment, I'll crap myself from bliss.
havent heard much of Cornell lately. and I wouldn't say he wipes the floor with him. Thornley can shred on the guitar, and has wicked pipes on him. Im a long time fan of CC and I still think Cornell could take notes from IT
Thornley has apparantly copied Cornell's look and sound.....what a douche...........Thornley had the money to go to school to learn guitar and singing and Cornell had natural talent............Cornell is GOD....Thornley is just an attention craving copy cat
Why would god create rubbish albums like Carry On and Scream? Cornell has made countless mistakes and hasn't really been relevant since the first Audioslave CD.
Thornley is more of a musician, Cornell is doubtlessly talented but without a decent partner really seems to struggle to write good songs. Thank fuck for the Soundgarden reunion because they were one of the best bands of the 90's
may the person that disliked this song be shot and pissed on than tared & feathered and hung in full sight for everyone to laugh at

It's not a mystery, Cornell is the man - Ian jumped on the bandwagon
it happens all the time in the music industry. Everybody use to copy the Beatles in the beginning.Big Wreck wasn't Soundgarden though.
Audioslave is fucking boooring.

music isn't a competition, no one is wrong in who the like, and those who fight over art don't understand it's importance
