  • New Orleans loves you, too, baby! Looks like you were at some GOOD 2nd lines! XO

  • i dig it;)

  • Thanks from NOLA! (New Orleans, Louisiana)

  • great vid

  • Wow - awesome...thanks

  • Same people doing the same thing. The Hacienda played host to the same shapes being thrown in New Orleans, sans big fish little fish (cardboard box).

  • Love this video, Merci!

  • V-E-R-Y catchy beat to this baby! If you've ever been to New Orleans and the downtown is hoppin', you'll understand where this tribute to the spirit of the people who live there comes from. Very nicely done.

  • Hi y'all. Thanks for the love, but we're not saying this is jazz. We're saying there is a direct soul connection between the streets of New Orleans and the Manchester rave scene where this beat comes from.

The reality is the people in this video have been abandoned by their government in a most cruel way. Maybe people in the UK who love the music will care. That's our hope and the reason for our New Orleans-Manchester event this month.

  • cool. I love it. Got the music, got the vibe, call it what you want, it's music, it's people, its African Jazz of today.

  • this is jazz!!!!!

simply put spontaneous , music for the people by the people

  • OK groove but it has nothing to do with the second line feel that these people are celebrating. It's like syncing up an AC/DC video to a Bach track. Interesting but just not right...

  • Great stuff it might not be your daddy's jazz but it's the 21st century time to look beyond how something is supposed to sound.

  • A blast of creativity of an undefined nature, an interactive rush of color, sound, rhythm, heard, unheard, glimpsed, imagined. Chaotic discipline, A reminder of all things shared, a celebration of our differences. Journey's taken, journey's forsaken.

And how would you define jazz my friends?

  • these people are really good with rhythm, no wonder why american rhythm, blues and jazz originally ivolved from them....

  • Well...It is definitely not "Jazz" as I know it, and love it, but I have to say that they sure have a lot of rythym,

  • beautiful - jazz to the core! And I'm not talking about the audio.

  • Incredible!
