It may not be true or found in the bible (i cant personally speak on that for I have never read it) but this is probably where the movie got that concept and part of the film from.

They are guidelines to be a good human being. This "fictious god" is real. He helped me through my hardships because I have faith. Faith is something everyone needs. Something I believe you need.

The thought that someone is watching over you. It gives you the feeling of hope. Even through the most darkest of times you can overcome. It gives you the feeling of peace. That there is a life after death. Religion guides you to be a good person. To inspire hope. To be a leading example.

yeah, my brother died before i was born. he was in the hospital the whole time. he was sick, and soon died four days later. it wasn't his choice to get sick, God took him from my mom, and gave her me and my twin sister the next year. hopefully he isn't in hell. actually, he isn't in hell, i know that for a fact.

The idea of a baby going to hell if it was not baptized was an idea found in the book "Dante's Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri , told the story of a man's decension into the inner circle's of hel and one of the circles had babys who were not baptized. It may not be true or found in the bible (i cant personally speak on that for I have never read it) but this is probably where the movie got that concept and part of the film from.

1st of all I disagree that babies who are not baptized "sometimes" go to hell.
The Catholic Church teaches that unbaptized babies are under the Mercy of God and that if the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to children like souls, then unbaptized babies are more likely to end up in heaven.
ANY IGNORANT person who does NOT KNOW what the Church TRULY teaches will spread this lie like cancer.

We weren't in hell to begin with. Christ saved us completely from the ways of this world. On the cross he gave us total healing, complete delieverence, his abundant life. Dying on the cross Christ made it possible for Heaven to come to Earth. Look up the word sozo. Thats what Christ did for us.

those are Catholics Beliefs, if you are a christian as i am you would know that there are different branches of belief in the Lord. The Catholics probably believe that if a baby is not baptised and it dies it wasnt worthy of serving god and it goes to hell, but looking in a Christian/non denominational stand point of view you know that when you are pure, baptism is how Catholics make one another pure. listen to the very first word in the Trailer.
