  • davids belle birthday today :)

  • anyone got the transcript (text of interview) somewhere?

  • What a Wise guy... No more posting on facebook...

  • Comment removed

  • @babahihibaba Who do you refer to? Cause all I see in this vid is a David belle, and some random punks showing off in a little gym. The first isnt true so FU, the latter no one cares about so Fu as well

  • @babahihibaba not

  • im your son !! take me with you ! :) XD

  • Parkour isnt something you do, Parkour is just the name of the training disclipine. Art of displacement is the main orgin point of what we know today as 'parkour' also free running is the same thing as parkour it is just another name. When someone is doing acrobatics flips ect outdoors that is not parkour/free running that is acrobatics or simply Free Style Parkour.

  • @forterocks123 Free running is not parkour, it's an artistic extension that serves no meaningful purpose. Much like skate tricks and BMX'ing.

  • @ianlamb32 ive always understood free running is the english translation of parkour, and we're mistaking free-running with the word Tricking. Atleast thats how it was 2 years ago. Language barriers makes things complicated for everyone jeez

  • @st335533

that's correct. freerunning is the same thing as parkour. and freerunning is not tricking.

  • @RedRiverChannel Exactomundo!

  • Parkour wasn´t invented. It was DISCOVERED.

  • PARKOUR

  • Thats it :) GREAT :)

  • His so right.. i admirer him so much..

  • where is subtitle???

  • every 's' that comes out of his mouth sounds like 'sex'.

  • in spanish! :D

  • I wonder how much of the movements were taught to him by his father.. and how much he figured out with yamakasi.. hmmm

  • Im From Kosovo....I Do Parkour.....You Are The Best..David Belle

  • @MrOsmo1 You are from Serbia because Kosovo is Serbia and forever will be !!!

  • yes

  • at 1:52 lol

  • david belle is the founder of parkour!you says that we have done parkour before him..but we haven't...not PARKOUR because thats david belles invention:)

  • yes good morningy

  • NICE VERY GOOD

  • Melhor vídeo , ajudou a entender um pouco mais da filosofia do parkour vlw

  • saltare da un palazzo all'altro é da pazzi , meno male che lui é un maestro....

  • he is not the inventor of parkour, as much as every one is going to fagots about this it was invented in the 16th century by the french to retreat through villages quickly and efficiently, David Belle merely re-discovered it

  • if was invented in the fucking stone age by hunters hunting animals if you wanna go that far

  • Yeah, but they didn't bring it to the internet.

  • Where do yo get this info from? I wold like to read about it.

  • david belle is the king

  • the guy is crazy

  • ARRR why dont people acttualy talk to people from the yamakasi there not that hard to get hold

of foucon created the term free running with although it looks like parkour in some ways it has very little to actualy do with it,

what david was thought is that over coming obsticals (physical and mental) sould be fast and easy and this is the true nature of parkour he simpaly wrote a list of basic movements and we go from there!

FOUCON HAS NOUTTO DO WITH CREATING PARKOUR though he was yamakasi.

  • david belle es lo maximo tambien en mexico ay buen parkour pero belle es lo maximo

  • were the fuck is the subtitles

  • Click on the little up arrow on the bottom right and click 'cc'

  • yea i done the research found out it was a method of training for soliders by a commander so the soldiers could handle terain and its perfexct for that, i know now its all technical flips and so on itsa sport now but the original method will be the best

  • the origin is a militant that put the system together so his troupes would be able to move around properly called the art of displacement. belles dad was in the army and was taught it, his dad taught it to him and in turn he taught it to his friends. david belle started parkour and co founded free running, sebastien foucon founded free running and co founded parkour.

  • i done some research on the subject the man i tought founded was sebastian foucanfriend of belles and the CO founder of it but the more research i did i found neither of them started it. so u shud kik belle ass man

  • Actually, the 'founders' of parkour are Yamakasi which included Sebastien Foucan and David belle.

  • nope your wrong friend, it was davi belles father who taught him about it, it was never created asa cool thing to do it was the most efficent way for soldiers and firemen to manouver throught obsticles, but david belle introduced it to his friends including foulcan, and then they all done it

  • is he really i though it was another guy i seen that was the inventor or wat ever you would say

  • really inspiring guy =)

You really are the ambassador of the art

And i love that he tells us that flips are not important because most people on youtube think your shite unless you can flip which isnt what pk is about

    Tr

I'm only a beginner but my 5th video is not too bad, so give it a look

we get yelled at for it in the end, why do people hate parkour?

  • Hmm, this is a good video we can use for presentations! David explained it real well, and I hope others understand it now.

  • ok, that was very helpfull, now i realise im a real tracuer, i dont do flips, and i dont show off/or impress people, but my frends are, i get very annoyed when people think im trying to show off, when im only doing pakour to free my imagination, and urges
