  • I am against harmful restraints and seclusion. However, are you organisation working towards safe restraints to help the teachers?

    My friend who is a teacher working with autistic teens are suffering from scars on her body and lately internal injuries from her students. Anyone protecting the staff and volunteers?

    That is where the missing component "training" comes into play. With proper training, the situations can be prevented rather than restrained. With proper supports in place, neither teachers or students get hurt, instead of hurting one while protecting the other.
