What is the song and the band on 2:00? I used to listen to that stuff alot on tape when I was younger but i don't remember the name of the band. Can someone tell me?
"real race cars" also have pit crews, duplicate parts and time between races to work on the cars.
One Lap of America gives just enough time to drive to the next race, you have to work on your car yourself, and it has to be street legal. 5600 miles between events in 8 days with snow/rain/tornado/all-night driving.... it ain't as easy as your little makes it seem.
yeah but doesnt mean he cant race without it and do another lap... the car still works and turns... and please to lecture about pit crew and stuff, i take part in the italian rally championship and know what it means not having a full Team sponsored crew...
the c5 zo6 brakes are very touchy and brakeassist doen't help, and at slow speeds with 400 hp you want tcs to work when you have a racetrack with tight turns
i can understand why you may want it to work... but a good driver should be able to drive without it, plus you can get round any track faster without TCS, you have no power cutouts without TCS, just all foot control.... you who i suppose watches tog gear should know that no TCS is faster for racing drivers.. . I still enjoy watching them, its a cool idea and thats why i gave it a 5 star rating, but just dont understand why he wouldnt drive without tractions aids.
have you ever driven a corvette? Have you ever driven at pueblo? trust me, at pueblo you need tcs if you're not a professional driver, and even then, vettes are really powerful so its not even safe to drive around others with no tcs, especially not ABS!
no matter what track or car, it can be driven without TCS or ABS, ive driver a TVR Sagaris around Nurburgring and it has no TCS and ABS and it was hard, needed alot of concentration but still damn fast, TCS is something which good drivers never use unless your Driving an Enzo.
use gt4, it's considered one of the best methods even though it's a video game, it's dead accurate and you can memorize at least the basics like hard left into off camber etc...
yeah ive played it, its incredibly accurate, even the writings are spot on.. although one thing you dont get in the video game is how bumpy the track is...

Nice job with the video.Thought you had bought that wall , I was watching from the top of the bleachers. The run from Utah to Co. was brutal. We tried to average 85+ in the mountains but when the temp dropped to 24 we had to back off to avoid the ice. We lost the abs on our C4 between IRP and Mid Ohio. Great event looking forward to the fourth time.
You said "urine". lol. That is one hell of a spinout!!!!! Did they blow out the abs pump or what? What happened? If you had been going a little faster you would have smacked the wall there man and your Z would have been junked.

yeah its an incredible track... takes ages to remember every corner... at around 100 turns and 20.2km its tough. :)

yeah but that depends on your suspension setup... set the spring rates .5kg more and stiffen the rear end and then you feel the bumps a little more

Screw traction control, best way to really learn your C5 is to turn it off anyways.
