Have you ever wondered why the human fingerprint is so diverse? Think about it, there are approximately 6.9 billion people on this earth and there are no two fingerprints alike. If fingerprints were alike fingerprinting technology would be obsolete. If we all came about by chance and random selection don't you think that i could be possible to have some duplicates? Uniqueness in such multiplicity says one thing, created for a purpose!!!! That purpose you ask?? To know God.
You know what's funny bout all the religious bashing? It's mostly done by staunch atheists. you know what's funny about staunch atheists? They really like logic. you know what's funny about logic? It's a process of a semantic time binding circuit. you know when we develop that? Seven years old.
Do you know the first thing it does? Justify everything you've done up to that point. Logic just fucked itself in the ass.
The problem is that extremists by themselves are no threat, they are unpopular. The thing is that they are apart of the "popular" party, (like the Christians) therefore become more of a problem.
What's even worse about moderates is that they impose a culture of inconsistency. They both support fanatics AND apologize religion at the same time. They are two faced liars to themselves and everyone else, as they answer with secular values against secular criticism while at the same time supporting fanaticism and the idea that inconsistent faith deserves respect.
Religious moderates deny their religion with their actions every day.......they are simply keeping a foot in both camps.......enjoying the riches of atheist science, while claiming to believe in god.
In reality it is hypocritical and ludicrous, and they are only supporting oppression where it suits them. Selfish, bigotted assholes.

I must disagree.
Religion has proof.
But you can believe what you want to believe.
When you support moderate religion you are just simply not going overboard with religion. You are not taking religiou text and interpreting it in some funky way.
It still doesn't. There is nothing left in the universe that requires God in order to explain. In fact, it only raises more questions, such as who created God? Allways existed? Then how come the universe couldn't have existed for ever, and how can something exist without the existence of time itself?
There is no reason to believe in God. There is not a shred of evidence in favour of that. Ever thought how the world would look without God? Exactly the same. So why does God exist?
Everything we know about the universe is consistent with the process of evolution that is completely indifferent to what it does.
There is no reason to think there should be any "meaning" to our existence simply because we, as a result to evolution, have ended up imagining our own lives as meaningful.
If we didn't want meaning in our lives we would not pursue to succeed and reproduce.
The "idea/s" of God/s is/are just another obvious and inevitable result of evolution.
WRONG! WRONG WRONG WRONG! NO EVIDENCE? WHAT ABOUT MOUNT ARARAT?! WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE CHARIOTS THEY FOUND IN THE RED SEA BACK IN THE 60'S? WHAT ABOUT THE HISTORICAL AND PERSONAL RECORDS OF JESUS, THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CITY(i forget what it was called) AND ALL THAT OTHER CRAP? HUH? but oh wait, thats not good enough, is it. whatever, im not trying to win, im just pointing something out. oh, and buddists have apparently found budahs tooth. thats kind of weird though....
Loopydoug, all that proves is that people used to be dumber than we are now, that is the point and you just helped prove it. Go to hell, oh wait I don't belive in hell, go to Detroit.
what about converts to Islam and Christianity who grew up around people of no faith or as Buddhists, hindus and such.. there is such thing as just being a normal muslim and Christian without being moderate or extreme..
Well I agree with neotropic's anwser to my question and I disagree with Dannywilkerson's one. An atheistic dictature would be no better than a religious one.
In an ideal society religious ppl are free to hold their beliefs, but they are not in the position to forbid others to say what they feel about religion. So they must cope with ppl saying that religion is a ihnuman nonsense and tellign them why they come to that conclusion.
No, they really don't. Atheistic China for isntance doesn't have to: they have enough money to build their own military planes, missiles and tanks with which they can crush protesting students ;-)
wtf? is it stupid to point out that atheists are not automatically better people than theists? I think we don't need to automatically feel committed to anyone just because they also happen not to believe in a god...
just to play devils advocate I will disagree, non-theist's do fly planes into buildings and commit other horrible acts, the difference is, if they do it, they do it because it's what they want, they don't do it because of their beliefs (or lack of it) non-theist's don't do horrible things and hide behind a banner of religion
I agree. Being tolerant of religion just enables it. Atheist who say it's ok to believe what you want are part of the problem. It's time for people to stop making excuses. Religion is holding us back.
No, you tell people the truth -their religious beliefs are both stupid and immoral. You try to change the world through discussion. Previously, the discussion was stopped by people saying "you should just let people believe what they want to believe." That is complete nonsense -why should we let people continue believe immoral and stupid things? We can't stop them forcefully, but we can damn well tell them that their beliefs are total nonsense and are damaging to society.
anonymity is important for minorities. Homosexuals are almost fully accepted into society. they have support from the young. The next minority is atheists.
Ugh, this was an awesome video until you said that. This is a classic Bushism and Republican Party sound bite. This kind of clichéd rhetoric has no place in the vocabulary of a true Evil Robot.
Dude, rhetoric is made of words. What else could rhetoric be if not words? You do realize this, right?
Don't get me wrong. I think your point is fundamentally correct (that moderates insulate extremists from criticism), but I think it's worse than lazy to use rhetoric. It also erodes the argument itself.
Check out George Orwell's "Politics and the English Language," 1946. It explains my point much better.
"Rhetoric is the art and study of the use of language with persuasive effect." - Wikipedia
Whether you like the phrase he used or not, whether you think it is merely a "clichéd sound bite" or not, is irrelevant. If it has a "persuasive effect" on others, or is at the very least intended to persuade (however successfully or unsuccessfully), then it is valid rhetoric.
Your pathetic attempts to be the police of language are "empty words".
you have made some good points as of late, but I can not help but agree with Uzurr69 - I am not a big fan of the evil demon/robot thing, but I must ask, why the need for anonymity?
I agree with everything said, as always (that's why i'm subscribed, lol), but i liked your earlier videos more, without the voice experiments, etc. It's distracting. Just an opinion.
well said! I liked the evil-demon gay-chritian video too (comments are disabled). i'd love to see a version of that video without the sound effects, because it scares most christians from watching/listening.

I don't think extremists are closer to religious texts, they usually blow them waaaaay out of proportion and misenterprate a lot of things.
