Are you sure the F chord isn't an F major 7 chord? The song sounds to me like that 1st string, the high E, is open, which would call for an Fmaj7.

@Mikishiwa You're right, but if you don't mute the B (2nd) string properly it may ring out sharply with each strum. Using the 3-0-0-0-3-3 technique gets rid of that.

@beerbow2000 hmm. i struggle with strumming patterns too when i first started out, but by listening to the song more and practicing can help. eventually u'll figure out that there isn't a set strumming pattern. it's up to your own interpretation of the song.

That F chord could be a barre chord? I don't know much about music haha, but like i said in another video comment, i am a little comfortable with barre chords, and that F barre chord sounds good for that split. If the F chord is the same as the Barre then you could just throw a "duh!" ball at me.

no. these are all open chords. an F chord would be where you put your index finger on the first and second strings on the first fret, your middle finger on the third string on the second fret and your ring finger on the fourth string on the third fret.

and dont forget not to play the lower E string in pitch while playing an F chord
