  • THX the video but first cord is a but f is best

  • can you do a lesson for wonderwall by Oasis

  • 36 people jumped

  • i got blista's on my fingas!!!

  • he looks like dane cook

  • At 2:01 there's an orb that shoots downward on right ( his left ) . its fast so quick pause only a couple stills of it. It almost looks like it comes from the corner of the gold record (black frame ) on his left. Thanks

  • dude you are AWESOME

  • I think I broke a string, And half of my ring finger o_O

  • i cant do the f chord ;((((((((( i hate having small fingers!!!

  • @MorganManic1 you can bar the first fret

  • STRUM PATTERN :(

    then ill subscribe :)

  • omg its driving me crazy ive seen u play lefty and righty which are you?

  • Hey, loved your vid man, really great. Just wondering, I cant seem to get that first chord in the chorus right, the F, Could you just like write which strings you are holding down at which fret? like 2nd string 1st fret etc..

    Would be great, thanks.

  • DDD = F

    UDUDD = C DDDUDUDD = G

    Thumbs up so people see?

  • @QwiikDropShots

thanks i was looking for this one :P

  • Your welcome. By the way, I find you very attractive lol

  • @Meganharris123091 BLUSH :) Thank you Megan. I really appreciate that.

    :)

    e

  • thank u so much this helped me so much

  • i need to know the strumming pattern. could you tell me please

  • Are you sure the F chord isn't an F major 7 chord? The song sounds to me like that 1st string, the high E, is open, which would call for an Fmaj7.

  • juat saw YES MAN and wanted to learn it.....thanks!

  • thanks a lot great video

  • at 2:42 why aren't you using you first finger on the A string? i have only been playing for a few months and i wasn't sure if its like a different variation or what.

  • Does anyone know where i can see the lesson to learn the guitar solo of this song . . i cannot findit anywhere ... everyone is just playing the rhythm part

  • This guy looks like Jon Lajoie.

  • I thought g is 3-2-0-0-3-3. How come he doesn't hold the fret on the 2nd string?

  • @pinoysuperray18

    the G can be 3-2-0-0-0-3

  • @Mikishiwa You're right, but if you don't mute the B (2nd) string properly it may ring out sharply with each strum. Using the 3-0-0-0-3-3 technique gets rid of that.

  • you do f diffrent wtf everybody has like diffrient ways to put the same letter but diffrent way to do it its fucking scaring me

  • @hotips1 Concentration camps and sharks are scary. The F is not scary. Yes, there are many different ways to play an F. It's okay, your gonna make it. Just step off the ledge man. It's all gonna be okay.

  • @yourguitarsage

LMAO! I see what you did there :P

  • @yourguitarsage i dont know if "just step off the ledge, man" was the best choice of words, it is ironic to Jumper though. lmao

  • @deadinchina22 "i wish you would step back from that ledge my friend"

  • it has words.

  • Great lesson thx a lot!

  • ebook and and charts are great thx but could you let me know what the strumming pattern is for this song.

Plus the chart on this song is abit faint compared to the others could you please update it because in having problems reading it.

  • @TheWelshFella It is DDD UDUDD (U) then repeat. you can watch another how to video youtube.com /watch?v=9NaGvdRTIXs I kinda like it more.

  • @lr4916 Thx alot fella

  • @TheWelshFella just listen to the beat and let it get to you. You could go for a down strum first.

  • dude, thanx from Tudabeats Randall McNeedy

  • dude there was a ghost in tht room when u made this video its in between 2:00 and 2:10

  • very good videos in general, very imformative and i do learn a lot from them.

But the problem i have is i struggle to figure out the strumming pattern, would you be able to tell me the strumming patterns or advise me on how i can learn to figure out the strumming pattern myself?

  • @beerbow2000 hmm. i struggle with strumming patterns too when i first started out, but by listening to the song more and practicing can help. eventually u'll figure out that there isn't a set strumming pattern. it's up to your own interpretation of the song.

    hope this helps.

  • Just wanna say thanks for helping us beginners out there; Your videos are great and inspiring!!!!!!

  • i thought hte first chord was Am? is it

  • Strum pattern?

  • at the start you were a little off but BRILLIANT attempt btw keep this up and youll become amazingly famous lol! ☻

  • exelent

  • thanx:P It's a really easy song but now I can play this I finally can play another song pretty most like this:P

  • Strumming Pattern-

    F - DDD

    C - UDUDD (U)

    G - DDDUDUDD (U)

By (U) I mean as your transitioning to the next chord play a light up-strum. Pretty sure it's not how guitar sage plays it, but it sounds good and marty plays it like that.

  • the new youtube layout, adds, processing system and video are awful i blame google every one should boycott youtube until they restore it to its original awesomeness.

  • God I bet that song gets u laid dude

  • what is de strumming pattern

  • C, F, G i think :D and somethimes a D and a E :D

  • @zombart Fmaj7 Am, and Dsus2 is what they actually use, but the C,F,G are good for starters

  • @LOLifcation not really

  • @WaldenFoSho Don't be a fucking dick! These kids are trying to learn. What were you born with a guitar in your hand? Pretty sure you didn't know your first day.

  • @WaldenFoSho ur retarded. cus we wanna play it exactly like they play it. chill out why do people like you always have to bitch about something?

  • what is the strum pattern?

  • yes man :D

  • yes man!

  • you crack me out, dude) could anyone tell the strum pattern?

  • god i got it a the first time!!!, you are incredible man!!!

  • DANE COOK?

  • @chsdrums012 dude tht is exactly wat i was thinking he looks just like him

  • What is the strum pattern for the Am in the verse and then the bridge of Am D and C that follows?

  • You also look like Dane Cook, but a guitar player version.

  • You're a good teacher.

  • Dude. Thanks X 1,000,000,000.

  • TYVM

  • teach us how to play love song by tesla... and i will be impressed (including the 12 string acoustic intro)

  • thanks man!

  • 2:01-2:04 a random thing flies on the right side of the screen lol. good video dude.

  • Yes Man

  • thanks man, God bless.

  • ton-da ton-da ton-da ton-da ton-da you put the past away

my favorite part... thanks great video

  • liked the video but want the correct strum pattern

  • just kinda do what you feel is right, no need to be specific with strumming patterns, normally i just try and stick to lessons, but when i'm playing i'll spice it up a bit and go what feels nice

  • Great vid man. Just one question though. I've listened to this song countless times because its amazing. But it doesn't seem like the song was written in standard tuning. If you could clear this up it would be a big help. Thx much!

  • thank you for this video

    really good job

  • hahah stop at 3:34 its the best!

    god job btw

  • Im not 100 percent sure, but i THINK it goes

    F: d d d udu

    C: d d d udu

    G: d d du-dud du-dud

If you play the G and F chords that way it sounds exactly like his. I just play the C how i think it should be

  • how do u strum it? ive trying to keep up with how u strum it but its to fast

  • can u also teach the stum? im still bigginer

  • @Thewhitemental1 apparently a beginner at spelling too

  • why is 2:27 the best? lmao

    thanks youtubers for the chords

    x

  • actually its not an F, its an Fmaj7

  • Great lesson!

    But i dare u pause at 2:17

    haha

  • amazing. u have best guitar videos

  • Sttrumming pattern:

    Fmaj7= DDD U

    C = DUDDU

    G = DDD UDUDDU

    It's basicly like=

    DDD UDUDDU

  • thankyou for post that

  • @victorxb360 you can also play it like this: Fmaj7 = DD

    C = UDUDD

    G = DDUDUDD

  • thanks for this lesson .

  • please!! anyone, tell me please whats the chord at 4:48

  • if you havent found out yet..

the chords used in the song are F,C,G,D, and Am

  • @ 4:48 he switches from C to G+9 F C G+9 6th string E 0 hammer on to 3 when you switch back to F for vocal F C G+9 x 2 | Pause i will un - (then palm mute & stroke 'down up down up' quickly while saying) -derstaaaaaaannnd then go back to F C G+9 x 2, Am C G+9 x 2, Am D(or E:0 A:5 D:5 G:4 B:3 E:0) C, palm mute again you could put the past away, F C G+9 x 3 Palm mute, F C G+9 x 2, Am C G+9 x 2 Am D(or E:0 A:5 D:5 G:4 B:3 E:0) C palm mute again F C Gadd9 x 3 palm mute F C Gadd9 x 3
  • F - E:0 A:3 D:3 G:2 B:1 E:0 6 5 4 3 2 1

    C - E:0 A:3 D:0 G: B:1 E:0 dont hit 6th string

    G+9 - E:3 A:2 D:0 G:0 B:3 E:3

    Am - E:0 A:0 D:2 G:2 B:1 E:0

    Dm - E:0 A:0 D:0 G:2 B:3 E:2 onlyt hit strings 4 - 1

palm mute is when your palm is resting at the bottom of the strings and you stroke the strings to hear a dull clunk sound - qauincadentally were i placed the palm mute on the tab i wrote for you you pause two beats then down up down up strok and finish the word in the song

  • Ha, You Do Look A Little Like Dane Cook. And Ur Lesson Was Easier To Understand And Sounds A Lot More Accurate Than Other Tabs.

  • Kids?

  • whats the strumming pattern?

  • @fullofsurprises1 There is no pattern really, it's basicly DDD U and repeat if you wanna stick to a pattern but third eye blind guitarist is random on the pattern

  • @fullofsurprises1 just listen to the song seems easy for the strum pattern

  • @fullofsurprises1 listen to the song man

  • @fullofsurprises1 Are you serious? I really mean it, are you serious? LISTEN TO IT!!! FIGURE IT OUT FOR YOURSELF....

  • As always great lesson, but I have a question. I got the ebook and it only has a few songs where do I get the chart to this one?

  • sorry to bother haha but i dont understand the strumming pattern at all, i keep sitting here and pausing and re-playing but i just cant seem to get it right, anyone help?

  • You don't really need a strumming pattern man as long as you're in time it'll sound kewl you just gotta put your own original twist on it

  • i can't play an F =P but still a good tutorial.

  • wish some1 would put the strumming pattern up in actual musical terms lol. such as 1 2 3+4. or sumthing like that.

  • you look like dane cook...great lesson!

  • lol?

    don't see it.

and yeah it is a great lesson

  • i got a guitar like a month ago and couldnt play any songs

liked the song jumper on the movie yes man

looked up some tabs for it and saw(seen what ev i say saw) this video this guy is insain im like 13 and all and man i totaly got what he was saying. hes a totaly awsomely awsome teacher! i agree with cacatuaalba

  • ur great at teaching!

  • The way I strum it is 1+2 3+4+

Full strum on 1, light tap on + and another full strum on 2.

Full strum on 3, life strum on + and 4. Then end with a full strum on +.

  • I'm lead guitar in a band and we do a cover of this song and I learned from this video dude your an awesome teacher you want a job as secandary guitar? lol anyway you rock..

  • seems so easy but man i suck at strumming..

  • thanks man! Ths video was simple and very helpful!!!! once again Thank You.

  • i found that the strumming pattern

    D D on F and D U D D on C worked nice.

    D D D U D D for G

  • thnks bro it does work nicely! :D

  • great video! i think an fmajor7 would also work instead of just a regular f

  • whats the strumming pattern?

  • du dun du dun du du duuuuu put du past u duu :)

good vid with a little funny mixed in

  • can someone please tell me the strumming pattern for this song. all you guys out there who say you know how to play it, can you help out the rest of us and give us the strumming pattern???

  • Strumming pattern is first time:

    F - D D (2beats)

    C -D U D U D (2beats)

G -Same as C but longer.

    The second time you play it the F use - D U D (2beats)

This is the way i play it sorry if its wrong!

  • simply put, D/D/D U/D/U/D/D (U)

  • i'm not sure, but on a different how video she said the strumming pattern was:

down down down up down up down down but im not sure

  • dude. there is!!

  • yippy skippy

  • thanks so much! youtr videos r grrreattt!

  • the F chord is supposed to be an Fmaj7., and the D chord is supposed to be a Dsus9. The guy can sing pretty well.

  • great vid! thanks i can play it now! btw i love how the end you said get out of here and go practice

  • are u high

  • i can now play

  • Shrooms are fun arent they?

  • shrooms are fantastic!

  • how come u done made the full G shape? does it not make matter?

  • He likes the way it sounds better by muting the A string with his middle finger.

  • its called barring.

  • thats a bug dude, lol

  • That F chord could be a barre chord? I don't know much about music haha, but like i said in another video comment, i am a little comfortable with barre chords, and that F barre chord sounds good for that split. If the F chord is the same as the Barre then you could just throw a "duh!" ball at me.

  • no. these are all open chords. an F chord would be where you put your index finger on the first and second strings on the first fret, your middle finger on the third string on the second fret and your ring finger on the fourth string on the third fret.

and dont forget not to play the lower E string in pitch while playing an F chord

  • how to strum

  • Abonnez vous :)

  • ima newbie... ur tutorials are amazing but without the strumming pattern they dont really help :(

    anyone kno the strumming pattern??

  • Extremely helpful. Great tutorial. Thank you so much.

  • how can I play 1:13 that strumming???

  • its hard to explain. lift your fingers up a little bit but stay on the chord so it mutes the string

  • You put your fingers on the Strings, then strum, it makes the blank noise.

  • tatatata tatatatata ,lol

  • how do i do the strumming?

  • dude, weak - if you are going to advertise, at least play it through, show the strum, and learn the words

  • sorry 4 asking but...
