  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • Flat racing stinks always has been fixed always will be as the oppotunities to cheat on the flat are far greater then the jumpers.Flat handicaps in particular have gone beyond ridiculous and is where most of the cheating takes place.I find it very doubtful the results of these handicap races would be accepted in the national hunt ranks.Greedy flat trainers seem to think the low level of prizemoney allows them to cheat until a valuable comes about then all of a sudden their horse strikes lol

  • Surely the guy at 1:20 was either killed or seriously injured? That must have hurt like hell

  • @mattkris2007

no he didn't i saw this at discovery or something and the horse managed to keep on going a bit sideways so he didn't steped on the jockey and they said that the second jump the horse jumped way higher then he normally does to protect the jockey. as you can see the jockey was launched en the other rider tries to help him. he took the reins from that horse and when he slowed the horse down his foot came loos and he had way less injury then he would have had.

  • "Has anyone seen my contact lense?" ROFL i feel bad for the dude who fell in that last bit, but so funny what the person was saying xD

  • john francome what a legend :)

  • FROMTHESTABLES COM great new website for information direct from the trainers.

  • DONT LIKE AT ALL

  • LOL THE LAST BIT WAS THE BEST

  • They Must Of Hurt :S :)

  • who was the jockey that got his foot caught in the stirrup?? That looked nasty!

  • THe classic was Ruby Walsh riding round the horses neck for a few le ngths getting abck on and finishing second a few weeks ago!

  • mit dem steigbugel schock

  • lol

  • At least it isn't fixed like the flat and at least the jocks can ride also unlike the majority of the flat boys.

  • How is it fixed?

  • Horses not being ridden to the line. Jockeys taking backhanders etc etc.

  • How is Flat Racing FIXED? can you EXPLAINED To me PLEASE? i think in my opinion you have to do a bit more research ....!

  • Keiron Fallon, Darren Williams, Robert Winston. I could go on but cant be bothered.

  • @prestonwasntmad Flat races aren't fixed. The jocks can ride on the flat too. Have you ever ran in a race with seven plus other horses racing alongside you at top speed, guide the horse through the race, stay on your horse, and win?

    I doubt it.

  • @koalabby yes I have. Over fences too!

  • @koalabby I'm sorry to say this but I saw your comment "flat races aren't fixed" Ok, not all races are fixed, but I have talked to old retired jockeys and they will sometimes admit to pulling a favorite, getting the trainer or owner to put a bet on their rides for them, and allowing an outsider to place, sometimes win, at generous odds with the jockeys having a trifecta or tricast on the result (or their wives having the bet) Money breeds greed as you well know. Some flat races are fixed.

  • @koalabby FLAT RACES AREN'T FIXED?!!!? pleasee tell me you are taking the fucking piss here does the clip at 0:36 not just completely destroy your argument..?! i couldn't be bothered going into detail here what a ridiculous remark to come out with ..

  • @prestonwasntmad i agree!

the thing i've noticed with American flat racing, is the runners are "ponied" down to the start, so all the time the jockey is on the horse he has another person holding it. then once the race is over, another rider goes to the horse to pull it up for the jockey. wth?! these Jump jockeys do he schooling and training at home, the ride totally alone on the horse, jump round, pull up and ride back without any help!

  • whats wrong at 2:14?why does he jump off?

  • He 'jumped off' because his saddle slipped. it was explained on the video. Believe me, you dont wanna hang around when that happens during a race...

  • i think it is funny how the horse keeps going over the jumps and at a gallop

  • OMG that poor rider who was dragged over the jump. Was he OK?

  • steeplechase is the worst sport ever!

  • why do you keep watching it on you tube then

  • 2.40

let that be a warning to betfair 'in running' punters... :-)

  • Glad to see that at last - I first read about it years ago.

The race where Jellaby stumbles and unseats Brian Taylor (later killed by another fall in Hong Kong, I think) is the 1978 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, not as prestigious then as it is now.

  • Peter O says Ernie Taylor not Brian. There was an Ernie Johnstone but I don't remember an Ernie Taylor. Did Peter O get it wrong?

  • the flat race at 2.11 was a rotten fall. was jockey injured anyone?

  • 2:11 is that at York? ow...

  • omg. That one were he gets dragged over the fence. MAN thats baaad.

  • wow

  • "has anyone seen my contact lens?" lolz
