Two are currently facing charges. I'm not satisfied. The several months of delay between Kelly's death and the DA pressing charges is enough to infuriate anyone, but the fact that these cops were allowed to continue patrolling on the streets, that is criminally negligent! And as for the other 4, they are at least responsible for failing to perform the duties of a police by officer by standing there and letting the whole thing happen.

The only reason this is even in the news is because there were so many witnesses including video footage. US police are militarized, many abuse steroids and have massive anger management issues. And what do Americans think about all of this? They think it's just peachy! You will see them make comments like "don't get arrested and this won't happen..."

Studies have shown that many police officers (not all) have low self esteem and becoming a cop is their way of asserting control over others. They were unable to do that before but now have the means to control others. It's just animal behavior.

Until police officers are held accountable for the same laws they are supposed to enforce, I will view this broken, hypocritical government system as an enemy to the people they supposedly are paid to protect. I hope one day we can be at peace with law enforcement but as long as there are police like this out there they are only feeding this ever growing chasm that separates us from them. Good law abiding citizens are given every good reason to vilify police every day.
