The Hawaiins just have to make up their own war dance just like the Tongans, Samoans and Fijians have their own one. I guess it`s part of your identity, a war dance like that. It`s very emotional, it`s not a light an easy dance it`s a preparation for war dance. That`s why kiwi`s/NZders are upset about it. It`s kind of like akin to unofficial national anthem in a way. So, if NZders started singing that great Irish song "Irelands Call" then I`m sure a few Irish noses would feel out of joint.

Correct term for New Zealanders with European ancestry is Kiwi, New Zealander or pakeha as maori call us. It means 'foreign'.
