  • thats bachmann track my lionel trains run on bachmann track

  • Lionel doesn't manufacture HO, right?

  • @CookiesAndGuns95 They tried it out and I think soon realized that they need to just stick with O scale.

  • @Rachmaninov08 Yeah, but gotta admit, for an HO train, that's a nice one!

  • I have a lioenl challenger, but i dont ever run it, im planning to sell it on ebay soon, if anyones interseted in it, talk to me. its $450 starting bid, but thees a "make offer" button

  • Here's a suggestion; how 'bout you replace that faulty running gear with an MTH ho Challenger. That'd do the trick. =) I know, that was mean, but i couldn't resist. I just got mine today and, whoa, it's incredible. I highly recommend selling your Lionel and going with the MTH.

  • The scratching sound will be the springs under the tender axles. Remove the tender axle cover and oil all axles. You have to remove the cover to get to the springs. I oiled every moving part on my challenger, it was as dry as a bone out of the box.

  • thats beautifeul......i have the lionel verenda and it is a beauty....i think lionel should come out with more ho products

  • Nice Looooooooong freight!! 5* !!

  • Great model and great sounds. It sounds like the scratching sound could be coming from the drive rods or if the engine has a mechanical puffer unit for the smoke. I am an O scale guy so I am not sure of the design of the HO version. Interesting though my MTH O scale Challenger sounds similar when I turn the volume down.
