Hey guys, I've just updated my Halo and its fixed now. It seems that you could only do it in doubles if using an old version of the online thingy. It was possible for me to do before I updated so please don't flame for that. And I apologize for saying that it always works and for not believing those who were telling me it isn't possible in doubles.

It is however still possible in MLG and Swat, so feel free to use it. Expect trash talk though 'cause the MLG/Swat guys are very competitive lol. :)

No, that is totally incorrect, they haven't blocked off this spot, nor any of the others on any maps apart from The Pit or Narrows.

Sorry if I'm sounding like a jerk, but I've just been playing a lot of team doubles and MLG so I decided to check if the spots work, and sure enough, every spot I tried worked, including the one shown in this video.

Really? I didn't realise there were any settings that would change it in SWAT or H2H, obviously in MLG you have the increased speed, which may make a slight difference.

I've done this many times recently in Team Doubles, so I don't see how it isn't working for you? :S

Actually, the spot is still available to get to, in matchmaking & custom games/forge. The only time it would have been able to have been fixed so far would have been with AU1.1 (where they fixed the stairs glitch on The Pit). And this has DEFINITELY been used in matchmaking after that. I could even go into a team doubles game if you like and post that up here of me doing it in there.

To be honest, I don't see how they will ever fix that spot without actually changing the map design.

I've gotten there by placing a grenade just at the bottom of the wall below that spot.

too bad those areas are off limits in mlg games

But when we talk about competetive gaming, whether it is with an online ladder like GameBattles, or at events like MLG. They say that you can't go anywhere that requires a boost to jump (apart from tactical jumps that are in the game like ghost-edges).
