first of all, what piece of shit with a fucking 1.4 litre gets rated at 25mpg? and that's the rating, so it will most likely get 18mpg. Why not just get a fucking tahoe? Plus, there is nothing chevy about that shit. it's nothing more than a daewoo kalos! Typical gm crap.
grwat car!! does 0-60 in about 5 miles! heh (joking) but well worth having if wanting fuel economy,.. hate to say they run like chevy trackers, while on cruise control, they dont hold average speed and often give a (kick) into gear to get back up to speed.
i got a hatchback 2011,.. the rear space is limited to about 5 grocery bags heh literally,.. good car so far, disikes: engine belt,.. it can snag hair or clothing,.. rear suspension mounts: only 1/4 inch thick and can rust out over time possibly and can ruin shock and spring areas
@STreeMonkey let me tell you, i work at napa and drive one everyday. i hauled 12, yes 12 semitruck batteries in the back of 1 aveo with 113,000 miles on it. amazingly the rear suspension didnt blow out, but thats probably because the tires were rubbing so bad haha
Got an Aveo 1.6 with 5sp manual: decent mileage. But I can´t quit complaining on its cheap finish, bouncing suspension, underpowered engine, excesively close gearing, under steering, harsh seats... My sister and I went From Mexico City to Veracruz (405km or 250mi) a couple weeks ago on her Aveo. All I can say is you´ve gotta knock down the gas pedal all the time and play a lot with the gears, especially on curvy roads, if you want to keep up with the traffic. Sporty feel without sporty speed! :(
