  • Not too surprised that Airbus bribed NRLB to harm Boeing

  • @jbrian80 Airbus is just a bunch of lowdown lying french sleazebags.

  • I suggest that if the government succeeds in shutting down the new Boeing factory, Boeing should move all manufacturing overseas & cease being an American company.

Our tyrannical country deserves to fail.

  • The jobs aren't being taken out of Washington. The 787 is the most back-ordered plane in the history of aviation, it doesn't have the production capabilities in Washington alone for this plane. The NLRB is preventing new jobs from being made. Even more sad is that it is hurting everyone. The dreamliner is almost 25% more fuel effecient than its equivelent planes today. This fuel effeciency would help bring down travel costs and gas prices by drastically reducing airlines need for oil.

  • They are paying final assembly entry workers with no experiance more than they pay the people in the other 2 buildings Boeing bought out a few years ago. I feel for her, but Boeing is giving half of those jobs to people outside of South Carolina, how is that gonna help our 10% unemployment rate. Has anyone asked what the workers in SC want? do you thinjk we want to make 15 bucks an hour when Everett makes 25-35 bucks an hour.

  • @falba70 Funny, but I bet there are about 15 million Americans right now that would consider taking those jobs. How much you think they'll pay the Chinese workers when Boeing finally says the hell with it and just moves to China? Much like Obama's head of the "council on jobs," is doing with the x-ray division of GE. The union mentality has always been "all or nothing." Congrats, it will end up being nothing once again. The union doesn't "create" jobs, they destroy them.

  • That's an opinion of yours, and sure there are plenty of people in lines for the jobs, that's why there is a high turnover rate. If they don't like u or the way you look your gone, that's it here we are a no right when u work state. And trust me there are people coming into the plant daily from all over the US and when they get here they are like WHAT?

  • @donsmithshow Unions didn't destroy America, Americans destroyed America. From executives to politicians to the workers. I don't believe they will go to china, airbus is already there and they try to stay away from that, plus outsourcing has been the biggest set back of the 787 program, perhaps another country though, but hey that's business. When they save billions of dollars in wages they won't lower prices to stay competitive they will raise them to make a bigger profit.

  • @donsmithshow The 737 program is Boeings cash cow and it always will be and it's union made. When GM closed all the plants in Michigan they lowered their prices to stay afloat right? No they raised prices hit record profits then got a loan and sold off half their company. Is that the unions fault? No that's GMs fault. You don't blame some random voter in Wisconsin for what their Nazi governor does you blame him.

  • @donsmithshow The NLRB plant doesn’t seek to close the SC plant; it simply shows a violation of the law. Under section 7 of the national labor act, it gives employees the right to strike, and therefore prohibits retaliation or payback from an employer over a strike.

  • @donsmithshow The strike in 2008, what was it for, lets see, Boeing decided to outsource several thousand jobs to a private company, their warehouse work. (They already do this in South Carolina and it’s a nightmare) the workers decided they didn’t agree with letting a few thousand employees go and decided to stand up for them.

  • @donsmithshow So I would encourage everyone to review the NLRB complaint, not a hacked version on the internet and make a concise decision. They will not shut down the SC plant, they will probably end up opening a third line, which they need already anyway, to make wrong the statement of moving to avoid strikes, which like I stated is techniquely illegal. Good day sirs.

  • @falba70 There are 15 million unemployed Americans, bottom line. How dare Boeing tries to run "their" business. Why don't you union folks start your own, then they will be "your" jobs. I love how you call Scott Walker a nazi. typical liberal comment about a Governor who created 50% of all jobs created in America in June. A guy who has moved Wisconsin up 17 places in the "best states for business," category. If they don't recall him soon, it could become number 1. Better hurry! Just amazing.

  • @donsmithshow its amazing that out of his whole tenor you scan site only one month. I am not a liberal or a conservative, I think both parties are only in it to line theirs and big business pockets. Who cares about a poll of places to live..its irrelevant to the discussion, I have lived in Wisconsin, thank god it was before this man demanded that Police, Fireman, and teachers give up parts of their salaries and retirement. I guarantee you that Mr. Walkers retirement is well taken care

  • @falba70 My mistake, he only created 50% of all jobs created in 1 month. That's hilarious. Who cares about a poll for "best places for business?" Is that a serious comment? I'm pretty sure the businesses care. Never said anything about best places to live, not sure where you got that. Anyway, it's so funny that you whine about teachers and fireman "giving up" part of their salary. It's called contributing to their own benefits. Wow, that's radical.

  • @donsmithshow the best places for business is where everything is cheap, and they can make the most $, that's elementary. The whole point of going overseas. I don't wine about teachers and firemen and cops, I m sure you think we don't need them since its socialist and all. They don't make anything near what they should and you want to take from them, you say put in their fair share, why cant the politicians cut their pay. Why do you care, you just want to sit on the porch with your sister/wife

  • @falba70 It's always the same with you liberals. When you can't win an argument on facts, resort to childish name calling. I love how you people always tell conservatives what they "really" believe in. Classic. Here's another dreaded fact for you as it pertains to "fair share." Scott Walker is making public sector employees contribute 12.6% of their health care cost as compared to the average American who contributes 24%. And you want more. Case closed.

  • @donsmithshow You accuse me of name calling yet you continue to call me names. I have already stated that I am not a liberal. I just mentioned what i pictured after reading all of your vomit. I see you still avoid supporting teachers, firemen, and the police. Should the rich give more than the #s you cite, absolutely, we need to go back to heavily taxing the wealthy, not rich like we did pre Reaganomics. Read Mr.Buffets remarks on the wealthy not doing their far share

  • @falba70 Just so you know, the terms liberal and conservative refer to political affiliations. I have never been offended by being called a conservative. Please cite where I stated that I don't "support" teachers, fireman, and police. Oh, that's right, you were the one that stated how I feel, which is a typical liberal tactic. Oops sorry, there is my nasty name calling again. Now I must go back to spewing vomit on my porch with my wife/sister. You people are truly amazing. Nice try.

  • @donsmithshow Yes I understand what a liberal and a conservative are. If you stand by and let teachers, firemen, and police have what little $ they receive taken away, then sir you are for it. If you sit on here and spew how you think they need to contribute more, then you are for it. I just hope for your sake that these cuts don't happen when you need one of these organizations help. Trust me politicians don't rely on these things, they can afford alternatives.

  • @falba70 what little $ they have? Since you mentioned Wisconsin, the average salary for Milwaukee teachers (including benefits) is $100,000/yr., so cry me a river. The fact that you consider these same teachers being "forced" to contribute half of the national average to THEIR OWN healthcare costs kind of speaks for itself. In my world I don't think it's "fair" that they have their benefits subsidized by people who pay twice what they do. Again, you present zero facts, yet I'm "spewing." lol

  • @donsmithshow Including benifits, thats funny, you mean the benfifits we shouldnt have to pay for like politicans. But hey its okay to be the only industrialized nation that doesnt provide healthc are for our citizens, but why should we its more important to spend $ on finding out which baseball player used steroids. Avergae pay for teachers in wisconsin is 46, 390. thats 20th in nation, average starting salary is 25,222 thats 49 in the US, so u estimate their healthcare is over 50K? wayoff

  • @falba70 Now I understand. You believe that all Americans are "entitled" to free benefits. I think you're in the wrong country. Perhaps moving to one of the other "industrialized" nations that you so admire will improve your life. As for your figures, not sure where you got the information. I deal in facts. The average teacher in Milwaukee earns $56,500/yr. The benefits (that you think should be free) cost the taxpayers of Wisconsin $43,505 per teacher. Try checking the official accounting data.

  • @donsmithshow HMM so is till come up with different #/s, quote, MPS teachers earned, on average, $56,095 in salary plus $30,202 in benefits, for a total of $86,297. acn i have the 13k u misplaced

And yes its a shame that this once great nation has fallen off the chart and does very little for its own people anymore. All these other countires seem to care about their citizens first and thenm war second, but hey your for companies acting the same way so why would you care.

  • @donsmithshow so the biggest question here is, do you work for Boeing? Do you live in Wisconsin?are you a member of the IAM? if not it doesnt matter because this doesnt affect you.

  • @falba70 Wow. So if that was a serious comment, please share with me how this affects you? Once again, you have no credible facts, so here we go with the misdirection. You people are truly amazing. I am an American citizen who loves this country. I don't go around using inaccurate data to try and prove that America is not as good as other industrialized countries. Whether you have the courage to admit it or not, only a liberal would make a comment like that.

  • @donsmithshow well, i have lived in wisconsin and i work for Boeing, bout sums it up...

  • @falba70 Sure you do. Wink.

  • @donsmithshow you seem to worry so much about what part someone is in, what does it matter. I have ststed 3 other times I am neither COnservative or Liberal, I think both have ruiened the country. A persons political tie is not relevant and i really wonder what makes you so obssesed with mentioning it all the time..perhaps i look at the big picture and you continue to look down thatnarrow tunnel.

  • @falba70 The fact that you ask "what does it matter," really says it all. You have not said one single thing that would even give the impression that you're not a full fledged liberal, yet you seem to lack the courage to admit what you are. All under the guise of "looking at the big picture." That's too funny. Good luck with that whole thing.

  • @donsmithshow Afghanistan*, Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Cuba, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iraq*, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, United Kingdom * is universal health care setup by GW for all citizens there. not much left but africa middle east party of S.america and US, all 3world

  • @falba70 Good, then you have plenty to choose from. Don't forget to write. As for me, I'll stay right here in the greatest nation in the history of civilization. A place where you have the opportunity to get ahead and live your dreams. Try that in China. I've never met a hard working, goal oriented person who had a problem with our system. I've also never met a lazy person who didn't scream for "fairness."

  • @falba70 Wow! It sounds like you can throw a dart at a spinning globe and find a more suitable place for you to live. Good luck!

  • Obama and the democrats can't help but being involved in another company shut-down.

  • adamitshelanu How do you come up with that conclusion? Do you have an argument or just want to blame everything on Obama? Which party wants to get rid of Unions???? Why don't you try listening and reading more except for what you hear on Fox and talk radio. Can you base an opinion on thought instead of racist prejudices you hold for black people and foreigners!!!

  • This is just Obama's Kenyan-style Marxist Stalinism.

  • Boeing is also outsourcing major subsections of the plane to other countries. I believe that the wings are produced in Japan and brought by ship to the US for final assembly. Some other major subsection is built in Italy. End result: the parts don't fit together in the assembly. When Boeing merged with Lockheed, that was the end of the US Passenger Airplane industry.

  • @raguila11 OK, i guess you hate the fact that US companies like Spirit, Goodrich and others are major suppliers for foreign Airbus, Bombardier, Embraer, etc Or that 50% of jet engines in the world are manufactured in America.
