Correct on what? The Supreme Court evaluates laws and the constituation; they don't teach English courses. Only someone as dumb as Rush would focus on her pronouncements and not on her qualifications.

Who, Harriet Miers? It's amazing that people are so quick to say there has to be someone better. There is always someone better. Wherever you work at, I am sure there is someone I can find that would be better qualified to do your job. However, it's your employers call, not mine; the Supreme Court nomination is Obama's call, not yours.

Could you imagine Rush on the Supreme Court? It would be Nazi Germany in 1942 all over again. Look Repugnicans, Judge Sotomayor WILL be the next Justice on the Supreme Court so get over it. And she is well deserving of it. You calling her a racist is hilarious. The only reason the Repugnicans are opposing her is because she's a Latino woman. Her credentials are impeccable. Her record is solid. She deserves it.

Time to quit drinking the Kool Aid. Just think, if she wasn't a woman of some minority persusansion, she would not have been nominated. It's clear she's a racist. All you have to do is look at the suit brought by the firemen. They, as the Supreme Court just ruled, had their rights violated. If you are in disagreement with that, take it up with the Supreme Court and not me!

You equate conservatism and libertarianism with the Republican party as if it were axiom, but I think if you'd care to examine the values of both schools of thought and compare them to the actions of Republican politicians you'd see an irreconcilable disparity.
Nazism, again, is only a subset of beliefs under the umbrella of fascism. I don't believe Republican actions have been rigidly opposed to general fascist ideology, which is why the comparison of the GOP to Nazism is so frequently made.

she meant to say vacancies not vagaries, and she immediately corrected herself. she did mean to say, imminent--she misspoke and said eminent. a common mistake.
storey= layer/store = warehouse both could pertain to a build up of knowledge-ambiguous if we're being nice.
providence vs. province vs provenance: provenance is the record of ownership; providence in this case would prudence or foresight and province would be the sphere or area of activity or authority-- bush would kill for her clarity.

She was born and raised here, she is entirely and culturally an American, besides, the words she ignorantly botched are not used everyday by most Americans but they are common for judges and law professors.
