Thank you but Chernivtsi belonged to Principality of Halych before it belonged to anyone else. It is a direct descendant of Kievan Rus, which later split into Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. Be it that Chernivtsi is located on Ukrainian soil and is a city built by traditional Ukrainian Kings makes it clearly Ukrainian.
Just because Berlin was conquered after WWII does not make it any less German, same goes for Chernevtsi.

Berlin like many of eastern german cities are in fact slavic city.The western Slavs built Kopanica colony-Köpenick -taday one of the district in Berlin.First name of the city Bralin-polish old traditional name-Bratoslav(short version Bral).The western slavic tribes were first on the territories of central europe than germanic people.

well, maybe you should remember when the "golden time" of Czernowitz was...and why it is called little Vienna.... it was not under Romania or Russia! If Austria had not been distroyed the 2nd world war would never have happened and Czernowitz would still be a great multicultural centre. But we can not go back in time...so let's try to get on well together in peace and build a good future for everybody - Ukrainian, Russian, Romanian, Jew, Austrian....

I know that you are Latin people and in your language you have slavic names. If you say that Bukovyna is a Slavic name, why did you say that Bukovyna is a Romanian name? Why? It isn´t true. Think about it: if these territories have Slavic names; it is because this territories were inhabited by Slavic peoples!!!

Again: You say that Romanian people are eastern Latin. OK. "Ţara de Sus" was the Romanian name, during the Principality of Moldavia (1346-1862). But Bukovyna (the territory whith Slavic name and inhabited by Slavic people) was a Kiev´s vassal State!!! And later it was a Halych-Volyn´s vassal state too!!!

Principality of Moldavia (1346-1862)
Principality of Kiev (Київська Русь) (880- 1240)
Principality of Halych-Volyn (Галицько-Волинське князівство) (1199-1349).
Do you understand what it means? The Slavic States were previous to Moldavia!!!

The Slavic name came into official use in 1775, but the Slavic name was used during 880-1349!!!!
In the XIV the territory was annexed by Moldavia, but the territory was Slavic. The nobility was Romanian, but the peasantry was Slavic, Ukrainian!!! The Ukrainian peasantry worked and the Romanian nobility ate!!!

There aren´t differences between them" But I can´t say it, because I admire Romania and its wonderful people. No, you are wrong. Bucovina is Ukrainian name. It became Ukrainian before some certain and known country had occupied it. hoever owned this land they contributed to Bukovina (except USSR of course), russians and USSR brought only chaos and destruction

Czernovitz is a Ukrainian city of Astro-Hungarian architecture. Romania is a country that was composed of different Principalities. The most developed ones were Transilvania (Hungarians) and Moldova (Slavs). All the rest of Romania (south) is a piece of gypsy crap were nothing was ever built.
