  • The music is written and composed for Eurostar - its not from anywhere else

  • Brilliant video!! What's the music called?

  • It really is just like the animation. A great way to travel to Europe. They have started to skimp a bit in premier class though by not serving champagne as you depart and also the trains are getting ready for an overhaul inside.

  • Music sends shivers down my spine. And the vid. Great combination!

  • Send this to Eric Cantor and John Boehner and that crew!

  • Amtraks to poor to build something this well. i bet Eurostar doesnt have to worry about being bankrupt all the time like amtrak

  • @howardkevinm amtrak is government owned and operated, which explains why it sucks.

  • @tehatemachine i couldnt agree with you more.

  • I went on Eurostar once to Belgium and we passed through France - good times...

  • Wow! I can't wait till Eurostar gets its new trains from Siemens- hopefully, they'll be allowed to run through the Channel Tunnel (as well as Deutsche Bahn its trains).

  • HEY! Now U can visit all the various shades of zio-con puppet "KILL WHITEY!" regimes with economical speed! =D

  • nice train station classy no bums like nyc penn station

  • Whoever designed the toilets needs shooting - Floors totally wet, a nasty smell, appallingly designed hand basins and surrounds always wet, and the ladies toilets always have a long queue outside.

  • St Pancras International WOW!. I think Wiliam Barlow would approve of what we have done to his wonderful 1800`s building. :)

  • is the music from Simcity?

  • No it's not but I like your thinking!!

  • Planes do just fine for the U.S., rail in this country is very much of a money drain except for freight, that is a fantastic value.

  • This is what we need advertising California's future high-speed rail system.

  • @CanadianMonarchist1 of course it does! r u from the uk? im from austria

  • Cool & well designed promo..love the theme music.....the cold weather in Dec/ Jan has caused some problem....that need to be worked out. Great way to travel when all systems are a go !

  • Puts Amtrak to shame.

  • @sherwelthlangley Amtrak is a total disaster. It just goes to show what happens when the government decides to take total control of an industry and monopolize it. They ruin it and the airline lobbyists keep it that way. There are so many laws that make competition for Amtrak so difficult that it scares away private high speed rail companies such as Eurostar.

  • a train running under the sea? surely nothing could go wrong...or could it...

  • EuroStar is a Concorde on railway.

  • Germany's Berlin Hauptbahnhof, I think is better.

  • what is the music? it's gorgeous sounding

  • Brilliant Video!

  • why do I keep on watching this?........because it reminds me of riding on the eurostar and france!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow that CGI recreation at the beginning of the video, of Ebbsfleet international, is spot on!

  • a bit grandiose to proclaim themselves as "high speed europe" when the french and italians have had faster trains than this for at least a decade. I love the new Kings Cross terminal, but it's ironic that this advert doesn't take you inside the train, otherwise you would see how ordinary and cramped the economy class is. Virgin trains and First Great Western have more spacious and comfortable economy class, so eurostar needs an upgrade.

  • @numb15 Eurostar just broke their patnership with SNCF yesterday, making them a fully private operator. You would be happy to know that they have purchased ten brand new Velaro e350 trains as their first major private investment.

  • Anyone know what the piece of music they use is?

  • The fastest way to Europe, erm I thought Britain was in Europe the last time I checked anyway, still like it though :-)

  • I think they mean continental Europe.

  • @xxxyorks Yeh it is lol, but for some reason the british see crossing the english channel to continental europe as "going to europe" dont ask me why, i guess its because we're a seperate island state

  • Simply amazing video showing the station layout using brilliant 3D graphics

  • One of the most beautiful videos ive ever seen! Amazing computer graphics and some really good music. The CGI representation of St Pancras is pretty exact cos I went there last year! 5*

  • justin dont hate, the trains would last, we just dont have a Goverment or private sector able\capable to undergo such a Project. Building one would be a great way to Boost our economy, especially a system touching all the states.

  • Don't be too optimistic - the auto industry will never hand over their cash cows to more convenient traveling.

As long as the American Dream of owning a car is in place, we'll never have bullet trains.

  • really fucking cool video/music.

  • they want to put high speed trains in the midwest

  • The US needs to get its act together.

  • @simongbb7 I agree. Europe's transportation infrastructure is WAY ahead of the US. Their airports, railways, and highways are all much more efficiant. Just yesterday Eurostar announced that it has severed its patnership with SNCF and is now a fully private high speed rail company. They have ordered ten Velaro e350's for expansive service into Germany and Southern France. High Speed Rail can thrive without public funds, despite popular belief. Eurostar, NTV, and SE Rail are all examples.

  • @simongbb7 It will never happen. We love our monster SUVs too much !

  • Yayyyy ill be on that train on the 23rd feb :D Cant wait, going on an art trip to pairs :)

  • i think there should be simply train to link just dover to calais at NORMAL train fares

  • That can't happen because Eurotunnel (seperate company to Eurostar) charges a £20 toll every journey. (Roughly) On the basic £60 ticket, they lose 1/3 just through travelling through the tunnel. Taking it below £40 would be near to impossible no matter the distance.

  • what's the song?

  • The music was composed specially for the VT.

  • Although it has been removed now...

  • outstanding vid

we need this in the states

  • Eurostar is so cool.

    It's 394 metres long!

    WELCOME TO HIGH SPEED EUROPE

  • It is 431 yard, in proper units.

    I agree- very cool!

  • Can't wait to take the Eurostar from London to Paris and from Brussels to London!

To add, I'm taking the TGV to Brussels from Paris.

I'm from New york ready to Experience true High Speed train travel

  • apparently the music is completely unique to the film - this video comes from the Eurostar website and they said it was composed specially.

  • In mainland Europe the speed of these trains is 300 km/h. The ridiculous '299 km/h' which

often crops up in publications is the result of a conversion from km/h to mph and then back. If one goes on converting and back converting the Eurostar eventually grinds to a halt.

  • amerika is so far behind....but they have jesus...wow...

  • im from america, and i just giggled a little there

  • Yeah, I love Eurostar and I love this music! I am very glad we have access to Eurostar in this era and at a usually good price, too!

  • what are you talking about, the third rail is for derailment purposes not for power supply. High speed trails get power from overhead electric supply.

  • The music on this video is absolutely beautiful.... any ideas as to what it is?

  • what is this music?

    please teach me.

  • The best video!!

  • Fabulous!

Now let's hope for an extension to High Speed 2!

  • Came into the station on the 15th November from Lille, France. It was super! Nothing like this in the states! The station still smelled new :)

  • Anybody know what the music is?

  • i want to know that too...

  • Yeah, so do I... Gr8

  • Yeah, so do I

  • Will it still serve Waterloo as a station?

  • finally britain has a high speed line! were way behind the rest of europe. when the new st pancras opens its only 2:15 hrs to paris. All looks brilliant.

So glad st pancras is finally sorted out

  • yeah will actually take less time than from London to Edinburgh!

  • I've been on the Eurostar loads of times - it's the only way to travel between London and Paris or Brussels and beats flying any day. I've heard it will be even quicker from St Pancras - roll on November 14th!

  • Wow, after seeing that video I can't wait until the new stations open in November. St Pancras looks amazing!!

  • Oh right. No idea.

  • All looks really cool

  • mml?

  • Bloody brilliant and love the 3d ani well done E*

  • Great video, the new stations look great!
