That's what I'm talkin' about! The Ventures lead the way when it comes to instrumental guitar work. You can hear their influence even today. The first son I learned on the guitar was Walk Don't Run. I've loved these guys since I can remember and I just turned 60, so it has been a long time.

Yep, Nokie played lead on this one. I'd be willing to bet these guys inspired nearly as many guys to learn/play music as the Beatles. I spent 18 months in Japan in '62-63 and these albums were my soundtrack, and it came full circle when I was in a band that shared the bill with "Les Ventures" in Montreal in the 70s!

Hard to imitate is correct, even though some like to think The Shadows are as good or better. No contest.

always nice to see a loyal fan & someone who appreciates the hard work the ventures have done for the past half century to bring us ultimate entertainment .

TOTALLY AWESOME TUNE !!!!!! This was my dad's favorite Ventures song! At least in the top 5 category! "Going To The Ventures Dance Party" is one of their best albums in my opinion :-)
