I'm fairly sure he will. The first movie was made as a coming-of-age film. Both Kirk and Spock's upbringings have been brought up quite a bit in TOS so it was really only natural for the film to focus on that. Unfortunately, Bones didn't have such a situation and for a film you have to bring the situations that have the most dramatic qualities to them. I do think Karl Urban did a great job and he really made you care. He did Kelley justice and can't wait to see more of him for the sequels!

Yes, Karl did the best job of everyone, which is surprising. I don't know why, but I think everybody expected Spock to be the best, but didn't happen. Don't get me wrong, everybody did god in their appointed roles (except those for Scotty, Sulu and Chekov) but Karl was THE best. :)
