you're right and also radios go with the time so they always play the most popular bands and their songs in the days... and besides Heavy Metal, Progresive Metal, Power Metal and some other styles alike in the US is not something many people listen now.. I remember back in my country 8 years ago you could call the radio and ask for "the rime of the ancient mariner" and you'll have it on... it was good those great metal days with MTV and its good music.
