I would hope wilderness survival skills like water filter use, how to build shelters, basic first aid are taught along with this. Henry David Thoreau does come to mind regardless of your opinion on Doonesbury. I'd recommend the book Old Morality by Walter Raleigh Scott though difficult many end notes.

The most likely senario to disarm us and to even exterminate the U.S. population, is a E.M.P. weapon detonated over the U.S.A. It would probably only take about 3 Nuclear missiles, calibrated to detonate in the ionosphere and the whole United States way of life is done. We have a very fragile and intricate distribution sys., when everthing electronic won't work, i.e. Trucking, Pace Makers, Generators etc. Groceries won't get to the store shelfs, mass starvation in about 3-4 months (cont)

It is hard to face that every Working man's son will be having his turn of that training I was a boy scout  on a military base when the Dad's was coming home 1970s Some of the fathers showed us how to survived with nothing the base was near the Everglades for protection the boys carry 410 and 22's there are no trees in the Everglades just one great big rice patty

Are there gators all over the Everglades? The one time I visited that area I visited some farms with em but I'm clueless as to the natural numbers through out the Everglades. Buttered gator tail meat = good stuff : )~~

Dear Crack I do not know if you are joking or you are serious but alligators was all over the glades but the salt water and the (Cuban) salt water crocks are being found deeper and deeper in the glades killing/ eating most of the nest of eggs and hatchings

Point to be taken here. The old washed out camo has the gray and tan to brown soft tones that are typical for the middle seasons in the niorthern end of the country. The East German Boxcar patern and the Austrian border guard colors work very well. Mix and match with options for all seasons. MGK/GDW!

The right to bear arms was intended so that the militias were able to arms themselves.

well that training helps/ promote team work relying on your bubbys to get you out of a problem to covereach other to work as a one unit That is why in the Sp.Forces there are was problems joining teams togeteher for a larger attack force even now there are some teams still that walk in with thier group 10 -15 yards from the OTHER TEAM that when some leaders have to yell RANGERS / SEALS / AIR FORCE ! To make them remember that they are are of a larger group now EVEN SCREAMING USA USA USA
