If biofuels can work, then do it. I keep reading about wonder fuels and I cannot understand why these companies cannot raise capital and put these wonder fuels on the market. If they are so wonderful why can't they survive economicaly.
Well maybe they aren't so wonderful. Remember if it could have been done, it would have been done.

Butanol added to kerosene will be a disaster waiting to happen. Higher alcohols attack aluminium components in engines, causing massive corrosion and engine failure. BE WARNED!
