I finally did this on my first playthrough and got like 18 seconds. Then I only got a small block and I was lie.... Then I played the second race, and I can barely get under 80 seconds! I'm not even going to try these until I try to go for the all swords trophy.

After about 30 minutes of attempts, I also hit the sub-20 second mark (I too got 19.95 seconds, about 10 attempts after my 20.05 second attempt). to anyone wishing to attempt it, just follow these basic rules: your first lap and a half must be flawless. never crash more than once on any following laps. never crash on the south and east. if you do crash, don't walk, just wind up another dash. with those rules in mind, just remember: first is flawless, then the next 2, crash only once at the trees

It took me 3 hours to do it.

3 damn hours, and one of the attempts resulted in 20.05, i almost threw my controller outside the window, i am pretty sure a blink of an eye takes longer than 0.05 seconds.

But i finally made it, i didn't even care about the the block anymore, the satisfaction alone was enough.

Just beat the twenty-second mark, coming in at 18.58 (crashed only once). Only took 4 hours of trying.

The guy who designed the track so that the transparent-yet-impassible parts of the fences were facing toward the racing area is evil. I can't tell you how many times I face-planted into the fence corner just before the finish line.

Personally, I think the requirement is fiendishly insane, having do it so fast like that.

Mine is 20:63. I even tried pressing start rapidly to do a kind of slow-motion, but it doesn't work so well.

My record in this circuit is 18.45 seconds. I was so excited to break 20.00!!!! I used the D-Pad because it was a lot more precise and you can hit the buttons fractionally quicker then moving the analog stick from neutral to a direction.

I've been playing this for days, and I'm only able to get just above 23 seconds. In 3 days I've only been able to complete a single lap without crashing, which is painful because you need at least 2 perfect laps to get this.

I'm at 19.20 seconds. I find Dpad much easier for cutting the turns considering there is a huge deadzone on the stick. Also, note that you gain speed with each turn, so doing a quick short turn or two (Hit Right and then Up when hugging the leftmost wall) on the long stretch on the right will gain you some speed.

i get the first lap without probs then i hit a tree every time. after that i hit again something because i have no use to the new speed.... my best time was 20,13 i really got crazy just 13 ms -.-

I think the blocks can be used to buy special swords.

@UdtheImp the blocks are like those golden spider tokens or other things of the like. basicly optional items to get you really great stuff.

also if you get perfect on both games you get the wing sword, and getting perfect on all minigames along with other things can get you the best weapon in the game.

I use the analogue stick (thumbstick), it is easier to do those quick turns then on the D-pad.
