I don't have a rom hacking program for that but I recommend that you use something like Tsukuru 2k3 to make your own game. It's possible to import LttP graphics into that and then program it to have a gun as a weapon. Of course, that means that you will have to start programming the game from scratch ie. making all the characters, maps etc.

Not really. Making your own game from scratch sounds daunting, but Tsukuru (also known as RPG Maker) is supposed to make it easy. It's got basic functions programmed in, like dialogue messages and animations, so you won't need to learn any code or programming language at all.

I have almost been able to run the new textures but I am having some trouble. It will let me install version 6.1.4 but I can't install 6.1.3 9X. I tried to see if it would work with 6.1.4 but Project 64 crashes right when everything is about to be loaded.

Did you just download the texture pack?

You need to also download Rice's video plugin and put the .dll files into the "plugin" folder of Project 64 (if that's the emulator you're using). Then, you need to make a new folder in "plugin" called "hires texture", then in that folder, another one called "THE LEGEND OF ZELDA".

Copy all of the textures into the ZELDA folder.

Then, open Project 64 and in the "settings" menu, select the video plugin as Rice's.

Also uncheck the "hide advanced settings" box on one of the other tabs (and anywhere else you see this box).

Now, open the graphics settings menu, and under one of the tabs, check the "load hires textures (if available)" box.

Run the ROM, and the game should load with the textures.

Note: Using extra textures may greatly increase loading times and slow down gameplay, depending on how fast your computer is.)

The grass in the Kokiri place looks like water. Too bluey. The hearts are good but the edges of them are rough and the energy bar looked better before. The Green, Blue and Yellow buttons looked better before aswell. Hyrule Field's ground looks too clean now, before it was all messy and dirty and it gave it more of an effect.

But I hope you continue with this mod and make it better :)

Sorry, I can't continue due to an inexplicable glitch in my computer. Now, whenever I make a texture mod, the program loads it, but it never applies it into the game, so it displays the default textures instead. I've ensure that all textures are the correct resolutions, but that doesn't fix the problem.
