  • Part Lion, part Bear, part Wolf?? Holy crap! You know thank goodness this abomination died off. Course you could only imagine how many hunters would want to kill this thing.

  • @Pilgrim1411 Are you retarded

  • There must have been primitive humans and mammoths around this time, because they used the same Bering Strait connection as the bear dogs. (7:37) Maybe they came later.

  • Of course that gang would have shot the thing into oblivion

  • ManBearPig

  • Bear-Dog. That would make a pretty good/horrible movie.

  • @JesusDillinger shaggy boombastic...mista lava lava

  • LIONWOLFBEAR!

  • @MrsMaskie yo man. wow! cool dawg!

  • There is nothing scarier than Al Gore's Man Bear Pig

  • i wont one bear dog

  • @DruviJ Do Not Adopt It! It Will Kill you!

  • I WANT ONE!XD

  • This shit has nothing on MANBEARPIG

  • lol there is no evolution. These dates are all wrong, invented by the white man. Earth is just a few thousand years old.

  • @Pilgrim1411 are you retarded? just asking

  • @Pilgrim1411 White man did not invent the Native Americans AKA west Indians.

They did not descend from people who were on Noah's Ark. They descended from people who came from the same route as the bear dogs, but later. As shown at, 7:37 .

  • i wonder who would win megalania vs. bear dog.

  • @MrAlxmarquez Not Sure!

  • @MrAlxmarquez megalania

  • invincible monster huh? obviously this guy has never seen a manbearpig!

  • these beasts should be in god of war game

  • now all we need is manbearpig

  • @Anacondas101 Lol I was so fucking expecting a man bear pig comment.

  • BULL DOG AND BEAR FUSION GOGETA SSJ1000000 MILIONS

  • my worst nightmare.....

  • bear dog vs. a bunch of hoodrats ... ahha fucking funny go bear dog!

  • RUN B!TCHES

  • I wanna pet grizzly!

  • good thing it is extinct!!!

    thumbs up if u agree!

  • @bluerainbow44vg Yeah! look the animals around you now days...

  • @bluerainbow44vg Of Course! If Its Alive, The Nature Will Be Scary!

  • If bear-dog was so dominating, it would have plenty of them roaming around. But lack of fossils imply the bear-dog was not the dominating carnivores.

  • @SunnyMoon2010 maybe bears and lions evolved from this thing?

  • @bobmoore20 yeah...... but we are not too sure.

  • @SunnyMoon2010 You clearly don't understand the ratio between predators and prey. For there to be a balance the herbivores far far outnumber carnivores, especially the ones on top of the food chain which the bear dog was. Hence very few in a particular area equals very few fossils found.

  • Just a few observations...Isn't it possible that the bear dogs hunted in packs...looks like pork is back on the menu boys.

Also there is a huge difference in size between the earlier ones and those depicted in the video; What environmental situations need to be present for that amount of change to occur?

On the other hand, there has been a very noticeable difference in the size of humans in the last 800 years. Even since 1940 men are becoming taller and more broad. Perhaps a more available diet?

  • @356butch Very easy to explain . A warmer climate supports larger animals. One good example. The 3 ton Albertosaurus branched off and became the 7 ton Tyrannosaurus. And we have been in a warmer temp. climate shift for many years.

  • You're channel is awesome! Thank you for posting, again! :D

  • I so wish they were alive today! Teach that annoying Jacob Black and his kind, a lesson on what TRUE Werewolves are actually supposed to be like! (Granted the Bear-Dog is not a Werewolf, but come on, it's the closest thing there is throughout all of history!)

  • i want one for a pet, i could ride em to school

  • The first two minutes or so could've easily been an episode of "Primeval", no?

  • Lions don't kill by using their teeth !. Lions and most Felines kill by asphyxiation !, thats why there is a gap in back of the fangs, where the preys throat fits !... Felines hate to waste energy and also their whole structure is created by Evolution to be super efficient, unlike Canines who rely on other pack members to tear away' until a prey succumbs to his injuries.

I think the Jaguar kill its prey by delivering a bone crushing bite to the back of the neck and skull ?!.

  • @HistoryHmoobGuy Yeah, the jaguar does do that - bite through the skull. It's the only big cat that does that, though.

  • why would god make this!!!!!

  • @darkkirby101

    Maybe he got bored.

  • hyenadon vs bear dog who would win?

  • @dragondudeification If its the North American species of Hyaenodons the Bear Dog would surely win in a fight. But unless its the Hyaenodon gigas then the Hyaenodon would win.

  • if that thing would be alive, people would be forced to have a gun, instead of having the right to own one...

  • aww the bear looks cute ^_^ not the bear dog lol

  • i may be skinny but no i sure ain't miny im a monster and a beast! lol computernerd01!

  • i swear discovery gets lamer and lamer with each passing day.

  • they remind of of wargs. so badass

  • bear : 600 pounds , 8 ft tall , claws , smelling , power

    human: 150 pound , 5 feet 7 inches , xm8 carbine

  • how come every predator on this show is so amazing yet they all died. they exaggerated a lot on all this stuff

  • Comment removed

  • wat terminator pig du du du du dum

  • He sure cleaned the streets up.

  • looks more like a werewolf

  • 5:42 Rape!

  • they hunt in grupps, so the pig was fucked up

  • Really good

  • Steroiddon :3

  • omg yEAH!! A BEAR DAWG HOOKER!!!

  • What a patient bear!

  • Do You Guys Work With Porn Stars?

  • Somehow I am saturated, I mean really full, of all those mega beasts that were so mega that they manage to extinct. Any kind of documentary speaking about the not so mega beasts that managed to continue living up to our days?

  • 06:55 Did he say Adam? I was just wondering if that´s a male or female grizzly, since theyr different sizes.

  • @MsDjessa Okay, he said he, so, there´s my anwser : )

  • I like that despite this show takeing entertainment to concideration, it still manages to be more serious then jurassic fightclub, that show is just plain silly. Mind you I like to watch it too, because of the cool reconstructions.

  • Still not as cool as honey badger

  • bear dog have speed of a wolf or power and size of a bear and look like a lion

  • @22krismae No its the jaws of a wolf, size of a bear and manual dexterity of a lion.

  • Lets see:

A Bear dog that weigh 300kg had to eat about 5kg of meat at day.

And its prey has 10-450kg of meat.

It hits about 5 times of 10.

It hunts about 5 times a day.

It often gets interrupted by Dinohyus(Daeodon)

That means that every day, this beasts ate 20-250kg of meat!

    Incredible!

  • That's one badass beast ever. If that would live today we're dead meat for good.

  • If these things were still alive, i whould never go out without an AK-47.

  • This was probably a creation of the sons of God,just like the Nephilim were.

  • that tthing is same as the dogs from the Lord of the rings ( the ones that orcs were riding in one of the battles ) lol

  • Im fairly certain the polar bear is the largest living predator....

  • @sourskitts45 Yeah but scientists now classify it as a marine mammal since it spends most of the time in water or atleast on ice sheets.

  • @ceitiosaurus ohhhhh kk

  • @ceitiosaurus Oh wait they probably meant the largest living predator of it's time.

  • Who'd need a guard dog if bear dogs were still alive?

  • terminator pig is kinda like the 1%, stands by lets the 99% do all the work and just reaps the rewards.

  • @OfficalBalto no, its his pet mouse.

  • It's such a shame that today's animals are so small compared to their ancestors.

  • bear dog vs marsupial lion would be badass

  • @TheAccount978 haha shit I I read masturbating lions

  • @TheAccount978 People know nothing about the Marsupial lion & the sabre tooth marsupial which is similar to the sabre tooth cat. One advantage it has over the cat is that it's sabre tooth-canine would regrow if broken; the cat's wouldn't. The animals that existed after the dinos are just as interesting as dinos. It is curious that a very large bird, called gastornous, became a top predator soon after the dinos went extinct. A similar animal took their places. In some ways still a dino.

  • chuck norris' perfect pet

  • 1:27 yeah that's what i'm motherfucking talking about ..imagine Chuck Norris having a pet like that cleaning up the streets from those punks there is one thing I hate is grafitting public properties!

  • I think i would just die on the spot of seeing one these in the wild,

  • I go from watching Skyrim gameplay to this. What happened?

  • Poor thugs. Where's Nick Cutter when you need him? XP

  • Beardog wouldn't be able to find Bigfoot!

  • 7:44

    Walking with Beasts footage

  • @deddi12 you can tell because the quality of the CGI just went up XD

  • I like the Prehistoric Predator's Amphicyon better than Mega-Beast's reconstruction.......

  • This would eventually evolve into the Man-Bear-Pig

  • @JDMarine89 xd! that would be great!

  • @JDMarine89

half man, half bear, half pig

  • @JDMarine89 aka Peter Griffin.

  • hmmmn.... I'm thinking .50 Caliber Incendiary rounds to hunt them with. Or, failing that, a crapload of hollow point Magnum rounds.

  • @Shinzon23 I'm thinking granades.

  • @Shinzon23 No, all you'd need is a pistol to the head and it'd be dead. Heck, a decent pistol could kill a t rex to the head. for the body, a shotgun would do.

  • Gangsters vs Beardog lol this should had been in Jurassic fight club lol :D

  • best part 00:00 - 22:03 EPIC PART 19:48 - 20:00

  • DAMN NATURE, AFTER 19 MILLION YEARS, YOU STILL SCARY!!!

  • the grizzly bear trainer is kinda cute

  • and to think....a Chihuahua is related to that monster

  • dudes your words are telling me that you might be little kids around 8-9 yrs of age..

dudes you should be less of a fanatic..

you guys act like if you were Paleontologists, or like if you were really there to open your mouth about -_-

I bet you've never been in the wild before, only at zoos -_-

(I extremely dislike your attitude of total excitement...about which species beats a species and blah blah blah and who's better and blah blah blah...)

  • Man bear pig is more dangerous

  • how would that thing stack up to the short face bear I wonder?

  • @stoneman472 Smaller. Amphicyon Ingens was about 1000 pounds; Arctodus Simus about a ton.

  • @Albacorewing i was thinking along the terms of a fight.

  • Comment removed

  • @stoneman472 They lived at totally different times. But Arctodus Simus would have been dominant as it was just plain bigger. Their bodies were similar enough. There was a smaller species of Arctodus that would have been about equal to Amphicyon, or to a big modern brown bear. The larger predators always came along in times of stable and productive ecosystems. The biggest bear ever was a South American relation of Arctodus at about 3400 pounds--almost two cubic meters of volume.

  • @stoneman472 Not just a nice ecosystem with enough food, but a competing predator was needed to evolve a mega-giant in most cases. The giant South American relation of Arctodus Simus must have evolved as a response to native "terror birds" like Titanis and competing sabre-toothed cats of North American/Asian origin. Tyrannosaurus Rex may have evolved gigantism against other members of its own species; and so it goes.

  • If Amphicyon Ingens and Daeodon/Dinohyus where still avive today, there would be a lot of dead bison, elk, moose and bears.

  • 1:26 - 1:34

Dudes: Hey look, he killed our friend! Now lets be retarded and try to fight a Beardog! XD

  • yea i'm really gonna stay and fight a Bear Dog what were those guys thinking?

  • It's really sad to think of the number and diversity of species that have been lost for various reasons over time.

  • can u imagine that thing sitting at your dinner table .me:wats for dinner?

    bear dog:you

me:oh ok(lie on table with apple in my mouth)

  • @snaker52 That wasn't funny that was just anspicuasly random

  • I really love the first scenee.... <3

  • i would want be a bear dog so i could make a dodo in the woods but still could live in the house

  • its half dog, half bear, half lion. im serial.

  • lol, wild boar is on steroids too...

  • Dog on steroids? Like hackers on steroids?

  • @onemoreturn Whaaaa????

  • @ceitiosaurus

Just type in "hackers on steroids", lol.

  • bear-dog vs megalania!!!

  • @dayton3200 That would be one awesome fight!

  • I don't get why the series is called Monsters Resurrected, and then they have MEGA BEASTS as their in-show title. Seriously. It's like they couldn't decide which phrase to use.

  • 2 people got mauled by the bear-dog.

  • Comment removed

  • @sweng1221 Oh I see. In walking with beasts they made Entelodon look a lot bigger

  • 11:05 I love how the grizzly bear is acting more like a dog. Why can't all bears be that friendly?

  • @GigaSpinoTrex Cause most are not tame.

  • @GigaSpinoTrex 11:43 He has a bandage on his had from the bear chewing on him. Lmao, it's not a dog. It never will be.

  • he is right Dinohyus evolved from Entelodont to cope with the prey also getting bigger, but Hyenadon could not evolve so the terminator pig was the top hog at least until the bear-dog came in

  • the pigsquash!!!!

  • First of all Dinohyus is now called Daeodon. Second, it ain't the biggest pig of all. Entelodon is.

  • @TheVelociraptor15 It is. The Entelodon evolved into a Dinohyus which was bigger.

  • Hyaenodon is more badass than Amphicyon (bear-dog)

  • That was the worst mini-movie ever at the beginning.

  • Why wasn't this episode included on the DVD?

  • @Scotttjt I know. I got the DVD on Amazon.com and I was beyond pissed they didn't include this one? Really what's the point of that?

  • @Dinospikester

Likely some idiot at the place where they make the DVDs. Probably too careless to notice he/she left out an entire episode. -_-'

  • @Scotttjt Yeah probably.

  • I want a bear :(

  • @jacarandas82 Ever drew one? I've drawn lots.

  • I bet the Bear Dog knew how the Mega-Lion felt getting it's food stolen by a bigger predator.

  • @Alcairo02 Yeah like 5 million years before.

  • Amphicyon ingens woul´d suit in jurassic park ( InGen).

  • biggest mammal carnivores surely

i bet there were thousands of dinosaurs bigger than this thing

  • @MrMaxlockhart Dinosaurs are reptiles...

  • @Pancake855 yes i know but they didnt specify it was the biggest mamal carnivore thats what i was getting at they just said biggest carnivore

  • @MrMaxlockhart Oh, I see what you mean

  • Haha humans are little creatures but fuck with an homo sapiens you might get a 20 mm bullet up to your ass i hunt the bear dog with my anzio =)

  • I want to snuggle the fuck out of that bear. That's just too amazing.

  • pig-"I'll be back"

Bear-dog -" i know how this goes, i'm otta here!"

  • thumbs up for the freaking adorable teddy bear that nice man plays with. Double thumbs up for anyone that remembers Grizzly Man while watching this

  • That bear is pretty cute

  • Don't mess with the pig!

  • The one dislike must be the prey they were fighting over Lol. Thank God these things do not exist.

  • wow the bear dog is the chuck noris of america

  • @DanteDemon15 Chuck Noris already is american. Try ugh...... The Chuck Noris of the Animal Kingdom.
