i won't be able to attend. i will be going out of town. do you have any footage of him and his shootouts? i never got the chance to see him race. i wish i would have because he loved it so much. i really miss him.

Yes it's true !!! He was a much respected member of the 348-409 webpage. This years Memorial Race is scheduled for 4-6 June at Thompson Raceway Park, OH. You should plan to attend, and come by, we would all enjoy a visit with you. Here is a quote from one of the post on the webpage.
"Fred Totten had the first shootout in Clay City Kentucky and we are all better hot rodders in knowing Fred. See you all at Thompson Raceway Park."

wow i had no idea there was a memorial for him. he was my grandpa. thank you so much for honoring him. he loved racing so much!
