We have a very liberal democracy.. and always have, and like 80% of our population are Christian. Our charter of rights and freedoms even makes several references to God and that's like the foundation of our country.
I'm just saying, Christians can be progressive too. Not sure about islam though.

The United Nations gave Israel land which was from the former Ottoman Empire which was seized by the British after world war 1. Israel was not created with the intention of invading neighbouring countries. If that was true than why did Israel give the Sinai peninsula back to Egypt for peace? If you look at history (which you don't) you'll know that the Arabs have rejected peace treaty's again and again.

I had a personal friend, a teacher in Physics, Mr. George Puraci, who lived in Romania during the Communist age. Karl Marx did, a German philosopher and economist, he came up with the idea of early socialism. Lenin and Stalin were both against the orthodox church, and the way things were going in Russia during the two great wars, Judaism was the greatest of enemies to them. Also, communism isn't an ideology, it was originally an economic factor compared to capitalism, which ruled the world then. Marx even admitted that his ideas would only be useful for power, not economy.
