  • I have video`s with Buddy playing on a 22 inch bass drum. Buddy played different sizes thru out his career. 22,24 and 26. Buddy enjoyed many different model snares but in the end of his career without any endorsements he favored Slingerland Radio Kings.

  • i was buddy rich best friend and played with frank sinatra see phil ambros on youtube on the set sinatra and buddy rich gave him on his birthday, the slingerland set you have that is just like my uncel gene krupa , old set good luck mr drums phil ambros

  • DAT dinggggggggggggg!

  • nice drums... i have a rogers version of the buddy kit.

check them out if you get a chance.

  • Buddy used a 13"rack tom, 2@ 16" floor toms & a 26" kick

  • are these 5 ply or 3 ply shells?

  • Did Buddy Rich really used that set?

  • @Jazzdrummerperson No, this Slingerland set with the 2 x 16 inch floortoms and double cymbalholders on the bassdrum was called the Buddy Rich model in the 1970s. I think Buddy Rich used a 24 bassdrum, this is a 22inch.

  • What is kit is that on the workshop table?

  • U stink!

  • SMALLEST CYMBAL EVER!

  • Bravo! That was cool! You have a nice touch there and some good moves around the set. Love that vintage kit too. You might get a kick out of my solo clips on here as well. Keep playing!
