all these honda fanboys just kill me. this isn't the 70's anymore, American designed cars in many cases are now even better than their foreign competitors. I've got a Ford 4x4 in my garage right now with 225k miles on it and the only thing it's every had done was brakes, tires, fluids and spark plugs. My last Ford was the same way. My dad's Taurus that he finally got rid of last year had 360k miles on it, transmission was the only failure at around 250k and he rebuilt it and kept going.

I have a 95 f150 with 284k miles of abuse (pulling heavy loads of 8k+lbs) and it still has original transmission, engine, rear differential. Never owned any ford car, but everyone I know that does is very happy with them. So quit hating, if you don't like em don't buy em.
