normal macs do not have flash either so if you want flash get a windows pc the ipad is more fun and you can download mac os x if you want but it would cost money and also you can get i movie now on the ipad and ipad 2
the ipad 3 will prob come out sometime next year on march, if apple does what they did last time you could always sell it and then buy an ipad 3 if you want it that bad.

iPad, I agree is a revolutionary device, It's just that Apple.Inc is renovating it's products, iPad 2 just came out, and now it makes it difficult to debate against these two products. Which both changed the course of technological history throughout this decade. I enjoy your videos all you need to do now, is make one about the iPad 2.
I would like to have an iPad, but I'm done with shitty PC laptops. I bought an HP Pavilion DV7 laptop a couple of years back and it was loaded with features. I have really never been happy with it. I intend to replace it with a Macbook Pro very soon, just like I replace my crappy PC desktop with an iMac. I could not be happier.
iPads are better for data consumtion, like reading. However, they're not so good at data creation.
It feels like they removed a lot of customisation, to make sure you don't break anything. While that may be good for regular users, I prefer to have more control over my devices.
Personally I prefer my Linux netbook, but there is a market for the iPad, and I can see normal people enjoying it.
They could make it the price of a netbook, though.

the ipad will get to a point of being good enough for what people would want to use a laptop for, but it has not reached that point yet. people say that the ipad is just a big iphone must understand that that is quite a silly thing to say, when Apple rewrote every single app to take advantage of the extra space (pop up windows, paneled view, sidebars, etc).

Over here in the UK, the iPad retails at close to $800US, so does not make a cheap notebook/netbook/desktop replacement by any means. But given its small form factor, and ease of carrying, a lot of us would love to carry one of these instead. I'm hoping the Advent Vega may fulfill the need at a lesser price!

@fulloftech Tablet pcs have been out way before apples iPad. Since at least 2002, mostly pen operated. However they never where that good. When Apple made the iPad, than that's when they all got popular and everyone rushed to make better tablet PC's with android OS and IOS. However there are better Tablet PC's out there right now as well. Got to relies the iPad only has 512MB of RAM, compared to most tablets now days have about 1GHz and 1.2GHz. That's about twice as fast as the iPad.

After Apple released the iPad companies like Dell, HP, and Samsung all rushed to make android tablets. The iOS is optimized for tablets, and works so much better than Windows on a tablet. The A4 runs fine on my iPad, never crashes, lags, or does anything bad for that matter. And for your issue with adobe flash, I have owned an iOS device since 2007, and have not have any issue with it since mid 2008

@fulloftech Tablet pcs have been out way before apples iPad. Since at least 2002, mostly pen operated. However they never where that good. When Apple made the iPad, than that's when they all got popular and everyone rushed to make better tablet PC's with android OS and IOS. However there are better Tablet PC's out there right now as well. Got to relies the iPad only has 512MB of RAM, compared to most tablets now days have about 1GHz and 1.2GHz. That's about twice as fast as the iPad.

Nice video! I'd buy an iPad if Mac OS X works on it. Would be neat. Apps like LogMein (and other remote computer controlling apps) are the closest we'll probably ever get.

@gumballtech For me is not acceptable to buy a product that costs almost 600 bucks and you will find important bits on your web pages are missing , even Facebook uses Flash and people leave video messages all the time.
IPad is good but very restricted to Apple
I have some DVDs movies , is out of question to buy this same movies again from app at double the price so I can watch it in the Ipad I bought a Archos 101 which is not subject to any media restrictions and also supports flash player

@niceboy60 Rip the movies, and put them on your iPad. Problem solved. The majority of iPad users don't care about Flash. It's slow and a battery hog. I've never once missed Flash on my iPad. But, if there's a Flash video I want to watch, I'll open up Skyfire.

Great Video! But, Two Things; First; There is a SD Card Reader and a USB Adapter for the iPad, Search Apple.com; Second: You can edit video and photos on the iPad, Using ReelDirector, CameraFX, or PSMobile.
