This showed at the Melbourne International Film Festival last year.. is absolutely brilliant, very funny.. if anyone knows where i could but this in Vancouver, please let me know! i was writing to them last year to find out where to get it, but it was getting quite complicatedd because nowhere out of Czech had it, hopefully that has changed.
Maybe at the Filmhouse in Edinburgh - they showed it last year+ they sell dvds of films they've screened.
And it's not all about bloody ears- there's a fish and a tree who spend xmas together, a violin player, and I can't remember what else, but several story threads. Plus not a lot of dialouge, which helps if you can't speak Czech. The fish is the best because he is all slimy. This film is very strange...
wtf?
