@bfstan1980 As a Lymphatic Specialist may I explain?. You are opening the nodes to the center of the body first, so the lymph on the outer extremities can move to the center for drainage. Think of a lake with streams feeding the lake. If the point where the streams emptied into the lake were blocked, the water at the farthest point up stream would have no place to go. By opening the point where the stream empties into the lake, all of the water in the stream can flow freely into the lake.

@bfstan1980 In lymph work you must start proximal to open the vessels and nodes for the distal fluid to flow unrestricted. In lymph work there can be many nodes or broken vessels along the way that can 'clog' up the direction of flow. There is no pump in the lymphatic system, therefore it has to be opened in the order flow direction. Different than the vascular system that is moving toward the heart, has a pump to move it, and has no filters along the way to obstruct the fluid. email ?? 2 me.
