  • awesome video...awesome song! thanks for posting

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  • thanks

  • NOW I CAN PLAY NOTION ON GUITAR ..... LOAD OF THKS TO U PUTTING THIS VIDEO ....

  • Indeed I do like it, sir! Thanks. I have a very bad ear for figuring things out. I know it just takes practice, but I find it difficult enough to figure out without the distortion, so this is super-uber helpful.

Request: Part Time by Bill Withers. I believe they usually call it "Ain't No Sunshine."

I'm working on it but still haven't figured out the chord on the change. I know it's e-something, with that bass e played on the D string. It's easier 'cause no distortion!

  • i'm learning it in school nd the intro is played like that whole way through

  • I'm 14 and teaching myself to play guitar. On here you said it was 5,4,2,9,8,12,7 but in the song it's actually 5,4,2,9,8,12,6 just wanted to point thet out and I can play this intro perfect! :) yay!! Lol

  • @flyingaceify err no

  • Wow. You're pretty flipping awesome. Good tutorial man. I'll have to friend you up and see what else you've got going on.

  • nice tutorial :D

  • You say you're playing the 8th fret, but you're actually not playing it. The notes on the B-string are: 55555 4 22222 10 999999 12 12 77777 10 10 9 9 (standard tuning).

  • thx dude its a big help :D

  • you realy dont know the lyrics to this song :)

  • gracias!!!! man eres bueno!!!! :D wiii!!! ya kasi me la eprendo :3

  • Thank you so much man this rly helped

  • I really want to learn how to play guitar, but I feel like I'm too late, I'm already sixteen and I have no musical talent whatsoever.

  • @EAC1215 Im 19 and have no musical talent and have just strted but with self taught lessons and commitment I will get there as will you (:

  • where you found this tab??

  • thank you!

  • cool song man i went to berlin in 2009 to a concert of them sorry for bad english im ecuadorian

  • srry 555,4,222,0,999,12,7,7,10,0?

  • badass song.

    cool tutorial:D

  • would this work on electric?

  • 2:12 :)

  • gnarly dude.

  • thanks this is good but canu send a tab please id reallllyyy appreaciate it :D

  • I think at the end of the solo, they play an octave on the sixth fret and slide down to the fourth. that's instead of playing 7/6/2 a second time at the very end. Thanks for putting the time into this, it sounds awesome

  • Hello Easyaspieguitar,Great lesson man i love it,but can you explain the strumming please?

  • Hey thanks for a great tutorial. I think to save the muting business on the D string you can just tune it down to an E and then play it open.

  • that is correct.

  • dude thanks for the tabs and good class

  • thx

  • c if ur gonn make a tut on how to play somthin,, it helps if u actually know it urself

  • the frets to the start are actually 6,5,3,11,10,13,8,11,10 i think it sounds more like the song but maybe thats just me

  • I would guess that your guitar is tuned down half a step, in which case those frets would work. Thanks for watching!

  • @marcusbball50 That's just you.

  • @marcusbball50 False.

  • @marcusbball50 its not that just u

  • and this really helped me too

  • Glad to hear it...gotta love taylors!

  • My favorite song off the new album though many of my friends disagree with me. Anyway I'm 30 and have been playing over half my life and I just wanted to say thank you for saving me 30 minutes trying to tune up to the cd and find where the play it. It reminds me of how I play 1979 by the Pumpkins, just in different spots. Well done and I like how you put your own style into incorporating all the instruments, I often do the same thing with little fill ins when I'm on my acoustic w/o my band.

  • cool we have the same guitar

  • This is great work man... Nice to see someone out there teaching Notion. Very easy to understand, I'll def. use this to practice KOL myself.

  • eek! excellent dude, im an open and fretted man, now i need power chords, haha, best tutorial though, gonna take a while!

  • good job!!

  • I've been watching you since you posted the new Dave stuff. I'm just learning the guitar and while I don't play along just yet, your a great teacher, and your music selection is spot on. Your by far one of the best you tubers... and I'm not just blowing smoke :)

  • Killer...thanks man, Nice work.

  • Nice :) me to play guitar good work
