The morons who disliked this lesson have no business touching a guitar. It's not hard to hit pause and repeat sections over again. Not to mention he put tabs on the video. And if that's not enough, the man's offered to email the complete tabulature to your email if desired. Thanks for the lesson buddy. This really helps.
Some folks have all the discipline, focus, determination, perseverance, and to top it all God-given genuine talent and are empathetic enough to teach the newbies ever so patiently, quietly sharing their gift with the rest of us for free and people still complain !~ Nevermind Bro..thanks for all the sounds for sore ears !! God bless you !
A wonderful note-for-note transcription superimposed on the video - what a great way to learn it! Is there any way the tab could be downloaded separately so I could also practice it from a printed sheet?
I really like the way you play this song and I would love to learn how to play this song, but why do you go so fast? It is impossible for me to understand the picking pattern and very frustrating...Would you do another tutorial slowly? Me and many of us would really appreciate it!
The first part of the Chorus... Homeward bound, I wish I was homeward bound... part was not explained in the video. Can someone give the chords? Thanks.
Good tutorial. The tab is helpful. In playing along to the version from Greatest Hits albumn, it sounds like the bass line is fretting the sixth string and alternating the thumb between the sixth string and the fourth string open D. The bass walk up and down tab is very helpful. The quick chord change progression and picking pattern is difficult to master. Your separate cover video is one of the best covers of Homeward Bound on YouTube.
just gotta say, your tutorials are excellent ive watched orther tutorials that cant hold a candle to your instructions ive been playing for a while, and its nice to watch your tutorials cause they seem to be set up for somewhat advanced players.
i know the intro. I am piecing together two other lessons (mike Herberts and goldhat3), but what I love in yours are the walking bass parts. Could you send me the tab for them. The one that comes off of the E. and the one a few bars later. I would greatly appreciate any help with the walking bass. thanks
@NayBoi08 ...settle down mate, I don't know about you but I rather appreciate this guy's pace. Most tutorials are otten times overwrought with way too much explanation which drags out way to long. Besides, this guy's even providing the tabs for you. Also, you can stop or pause when you need to to. That's the beauty of tutorials on youTube. And who would rush for tea anyway. Now bacon and eggs over easy with toast and coffee...now I'll rush for that.
Great Job. Though it is very hard to discern the picking pattern halfway through the first verse (starting with the Aminor). Can you post something so that we can figure it out a little easier? Thanks.
Absolutely Fab.Thanks to you I have now got to grips with "Homeward Bound" but still struggling a bit with "Kathy's Song" picking pattern. So good of you to share your expertise.Thank you sincerely.
i love how this is so to the point - excellent!
