  • That is wicked. And I am well aware that isn't your normal service motion... and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say everyone knows that and there's no reason for it to be pointed out numerous times... nor is there reason to note the technical flaws, it's a trick serve. That is all.

  • what a retarded serve

  • foot fault

  • did anyone notice he tossed and served with his right hand

  • This is fucking cool!

  • oh i remember that guy from some lakewood tournament

the guy with the weird handles

  • this looks fun XD

  • tht ball was out by a foot

  • owned lol

  • i wanna try o-o

  • im soo going to try to do this from now on. hehehe

  • Tanishi's Big Bang?!?!

  • double handled racquet

  • Stylé !

  • His family is a family of volleyball players so he incorporated volleyball into tennis. He is also a Pro

  • @afshiro8 Albeit, a relatively unheard of pro.... not to say they're not good, there are just probably reasons more people don't do this.

  • he threw it up with his right hand and then moved the racket over?

  • It would be crazy if this guy can do a spike kick serve, lol! Imagine a high kicking ball going at you at 135 mph out wide!

  • there is a reason why pros don't serve like that.

    1) if ur opponent returns it then u r f**k

    2) it rarely goes in

    3) kills ur stamina.

  • this guy is pro. top 200 doubles. both him and his brother actually

  • i wouldnt say ur screwed if the opponent returns it. ur not rly jumping into the court as much so u'd have better balance after the serve. secondly, it seems that if u practice this serve, it might go in more often being that ur jumping THAT high, u get an easier angle to serve into the box. i think the reason pros wouldnt serve like this is bc u dont jump into the court as much and ur not rly twisting ur body, so therefore potentially, the orthodox serve has more pwr.

  • @wind1357 you are damn right... u are so out of position and balance

  • @wind1357 4) increase ur chance of injury

  • @wind1357 this is a pro

  • @wind1357 he is a pro lol

  • @wind1357 lol Its a pro mate!

  • @wind1357 Agreed. Even though his family could be volleyball players, etc etc etc, the above reasons are correct. One other thing - the way he's serving might be good for a volleyball serve, but in the long term, with the added weight of a tennis racquet, he could do some seriousl long term damage to his arm, namely the frontal shoulder muscles and elbow joints.

  • @wind1357 actually the extra height of the ball toss will give your serve more clearance over the net which actually means it will be more consistent in some cases. That is also one of the battistone brothers, who are professional tennis players.

  • @wind1357 hey, you can't really say that, probably the pros you see did not do that, but they can improvise move into tennis, because the objective is to just get the ball over the net by hitting it with the racquet, or who ever get the ball in the court is the winner if they don't return, as simple as that. like Federer, he did the between-er during a game, if he does that in his 1st serve and in, it's pretty amazing. Like my first serve kinda like spin serve, but a weird one

  • @noahwang615 Wind can say that because his reasons are valid. I can tell by you calling a serve 'spin serve' you aren't really familiar with the tennis world, unless you were to lazy to specify what kind of spin your serve has. I am not sure how good this serve would be against pros, but it has a fatal flaw, which is stamina. Try playing a average of 3 hour game of tennis with that serve, and his serve is = to v-ball jump serve, try jump serving in v-ball. You get tired after a few serves.

  • @kernelzown you could call it's a reverse spin serve

  • @wind1357 brian batistone serves like that and hes a pro

  • so beast

  • That would be killer if it went in. Also pretty scary. i would hate playing someone like that.

  • This is a badminton serve. I played tennis against a kid who was ranked top 10 in boys 16s badminton and he did the same thing. When it went in it was unreturnable. Pretty much an ace or a fault... his forehand was the same slapping technique. WICKED hard but rarely in.

  • you sir, are an idiot.

  • Your statement is ad hominem. I may be exactly what you say, but it has nothing to do with the subject at hand. (You can google the hard words)

  • Yes it does you are an idiot. You said this was a badminton serve. At no point in a badminton serve do you swing overhead

  • lol, true. perhaps he was referring to a badminton smash?

  • you dont toss a smash haha but wow this guy is an idiot,

  • idk y ppl r callin u an idiot lol

  • the opponemt think wtf O,O

  • wow thats the tennis club i go to; west end.

  • not only it's not good for consistency, but he'll also be exhausted after serving a whole set... what about second serves? does he hit them the same way?

he needs to learn proper serving technique...

  • dude relax its just for fun

  • lol that was hella sick

  • that is scary shit

  • haha wow ive played here before, its in california haha thats weird, its a country club

  • Just a joke, but a good one. Great serve, with perfect balance and raw power in spite of the weird choregraphy.

  • it's like a volleyball smash

  • this is a revolutionary tennis tecnique

  • LOOL wtf that is actually quality!

  • Look at :02, he doesn't even hold the racket correctly.

  • he is using a two handled racket

  • That's honestly stupid if you ask me, doesn't help if you're looking for consistency.

  • it doesnt matter if you are used to it and with a two handled racket its easier to hit forhands with both hands instead of just using one plus it was created to help reduce injury on the court

  • crap if that really is your serve or you just tried it out i'd keep it that way

  • jajaja esta mamoncito

  • Awesome! i never saw something like that. Muy raro, jajaja.

  • thing is about that serve is..

that if the returner shoots the ball back, there's no way the server can return it unless he half volleys with luck.

  • actually your wrong. his left foot is on the ground before the ball even gets in the court buddy. he can still return it. and oh yeah. he is centered in the middle of the court so he can easily reach a forehand and back hand and is ready to do so

  • well, he's in the no man's land after the serve...if he's playing a good returner, he can only hit a weak half volley and the other guy can just pass him down the line....

but anyways, i guess not many people can retune a serve like that......

  • he purpously attacked the net after he served... i don't think he would fall that much forward from that

  • haha

my Coach was talking about him and the two handed racquet thet other day..

looks like a kool volleyball serve..

  • Damn! That's COOL!!!

  • this is freakin unbeliveible....!!!

from where did you learn it?

  • wtf but top serve anyway

  • i dont understand why he throws the ball up with his right hand thanswitches his racquet from his left to right then hits it just weird, looked nice to me tho

  • Just a ritual, everyone has something different.

  • brian battistone!

  • thats called the tiger cannon.

  • LOLOL AWESOME SERVE

  • what the faackkk...O_________o''' lol sweeeeeeeeeeet

  • will u hurt your back from that serve?

  • Wow. Interesting.

  • coolio!

  • lol wow dang

  • if only i could jump that high..is it a flat or is it some type of spin

  • .......if i could do that id use it all the time

  • SHIT LOL!

  • wow. i cant believe that went in

  • nice....bravo......
