@AriochStarr songs with alt strumming? it's difficult to make those strumming verses like you'd get with dragonforce/metallica. It isn't a problem in Guitar tracks but electronic music is better suited to those fast/arpeggio sequences. Look up another song I made called "UFO", this was my attempt to make that kind of sequence but I don't think it turned out to be very interesting, the solo ended up saving the song!

@ExTincTxGh0sT I think it's mostly sytrus/poizone/morphine. Edirol orchestral for the string instruments

@ExTincTxGh0sT I use a poizone bass preset a lot, it's called "got milk". Very versatile. I probably used 100+ sounds and not all of them were presets. Some sounds are made by making fast trills or arpeggios that end up sounding like a single note. Some sounds are used to add tiny details. You need to be creative. knowing what I've used in the song isn't going to be as useful in the long run as practicing/experimenting yourself. Try Nexus for ideas it's full of good presets!

@ExTincTxGh0sT Nexus doesn't come with FL but it is possible to get by mixing up the presets that come with sytrus/poizone etc :) And the best practice like with anything is to do it constantly/as much as you can.

@schmutz06 Interesting, Although I am clearly a Noob at FL Studio because I have only been using it for 2 days, and I only made to songs which were collab's but I guess I'll play around with Poizone and Sytrus, I never knew you could use 2 plugins at the same time, unless that requires the step sequencer

@ExTincTxGh0sT well you get the step sequencer (F6) and right click any layer INSERT --> (choose plugin) and you can have multiple layers all with different samples/plugins. Make your patterns in piano roll (F7), arrange the patterns in the playlist (F5). Thats the basics with the shortcut keys to various windows lol :) Look around on YouTube for FL studio interface/basic tutorials for more help, it'll be worth it!

@ExTincTxGh0sT no that is normal, it has inserted into it's own new slot. You need to look up some interface tutorials there are so many on YouTube you can learn everything I know and far beyond that if you wanted there are tutorials for anything and everything in FL. And read through the basics in the help file!

@spaceballs369 stupid fast... I think it's over 100 notes per second but the GH3 engine allows us to time some notes early/late so they aren't impossible :)

@XxGuitarHeroNinjaxX I'm not sure. I think if you go into the hard/medium/easy chart and place a note where you want it to end, it might force the game to finish off the song instead of ending abruptly

@BassDropHive google feedback chart editor and download it! for FL studio (and even writing music) I'm self taught, no tuition/music theory/background/production knowledge. I kept at it until it started to make sense. I'm still learning as much new things now as I was when I started out, which is what makes it so exciting.

Ran into letter limit, forgot to say, going by "official" scoring methods for FoFix, sub -25% from my scores. I just disabled the handicaps because I hated Jurgen going "You play like a little girl" after EVERY song >.>

Since I'm on FoFix, my scores shouldn't be compared to GH3 ones. The strumming parts on FoFix are totally broke (instead of O hopos, you gotta strum everything, lol).

I Got a 982K good run (92.8%, 671 NS, 3710/4k), then a 1,206K "Maximum sloppy mode button spam" run (97.4%, 716 NS, 3895/4k).

I'll encode a 'Let's Play' video where I try not to button spam (a lot), and I try to make it kinda funny and enjoyable, it should be up soon(tm) :P
