Nice review, good to see somebody new in the market who gets something. Not some person who has 800 DS's already and is just buying it because they can...

Also - The battery should last for 500 charges until it starts failing, now it's probably more like 250-300, but thats still a ton. And generally the DS will be worn out, and if it's not, there are 10-20 dollar replacement batteries.

After playing with the DSi, I realized that the battery lasts forever. Enough even for a transcontinental plane ride.

Based from what you said about the number of charges, I don't think I'll ever have to unscrew the battery cover. Thanks.

here's a piece of advise, get a pair of screen protectors and a camera protector.

I used a piece of tape for the outside camera and I have 3 sets of screen protectors coming in the mail. Until they come, I try to not play with the DSi too much.

There really aren't any available on the current market. Your best bet is to get an invisible shield protector.
