i really like the film. in fact I have the DVD of it, from when it was given to me for my birthday in 2004 the same year the film came out, as i enjoyed it so much when i saw it in cinema. Yes i admit i think the books are better. but it is a real shame that they didn't make it into a film series. as i was expecting to see a sequel. but years and years have gone by and still no more film. so i guess not. so sad :(

Your final question has to be answered by yourself, by reading the books. By the end, it's something you decide for yourself. The books are amazing :)
